Paul In 't Ven (born 1 April 1945) is a Belgian former racing cyclist. [1] He rode in the 1967 and 1969 Tour de France as well as the 1970 Giro d'Italia. [2] [3] His brother Willy and nephew Danny were also professional cyclists. In 1967, he also won the Scheldeprijs, Grand Prix d'Isbergues and the Heistse Pijl.
Herman Vanspringel, also spelled Herman Van Springel, was a Belgian road racing cyclist, from Grobbendonk, in the Flemish Campine or Kempen region. He achieved podium finishes in all three of the grand tours with second place in the 1968 Tour de France and 1971 Giro d'Italia, and third place in the 1970 Vuelta a España. He wore the maillot jaune during four stages of the 1968 Tour de France and for three stages in 1973.
Peter van Petegem is a former professional road racing cyclist. Van Petegem last rode for Quick Step-Innergetic, in 2007. He lived in Horebeke. He was a specialist in spring classics, one of ten riders to win the Tour of Flanders and Paris–Roubaix in the same season. He also earned a medal at the World Championship on two occasions; taking the silver in 1998 and winning the bronze in 2003. His last race was the GP Briek Schotte in Desselgem on 11 September 2007.
Walter Godefroot is a retired Belgian professional road bicycle racer and former directeur sportif of Team Telekom, later known as T-Mobile Team.
Kenny Dehaes is a Belgian former professional road bicycle racer, who rode professionally between 2006 and 2019 for the Topsport Vlaanderen, Team Katusha, Lotto–Soudal, Wanty–Groupe Gobert and Wallonie Bruxelles teams.
Björn Leukemans is a Belgian former professional road bicycle racer. During 2008 Leukemans was suspended for doping with artificial testosterone. In 2009 he joined the Vacansoleil team. Leukemans joined Wanty–Groupe Gobert for the 2014 season, after his previous team – Vacansoleil–DCM – folded at the end of the 2013 season. Leukemans retired in 2015.
Ludovic Capelle is a Belgian former professional road racing cyclist. He was professional from 1998 until 2009, riding for Ville de Charleroi–New Systems (1998–2000), AG2R Prévoyance (2001–2002), Landbouwkrediet–Colnago (2003–2005), Roubaix–Lille Métropole (2007), Rietumu Banka–Riga (2008) and Continental Team Differdange (2009). He rode the 2001 Tour de France and recorded victories at Scheldeprijs Vlaanderen (2003), Dwars door Vlaanderen (2004) and Grand Prix d'Isbergues (2004).
Frans Van Looy was a Belgian cyclist. Looy was professional from 1972 to 1982. He competed in the individual road race at the 1972 Summer Olympics.
Giacomo Nizzolo is an Italian racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team.
Louis Verreydt was a Belgian cyclist. He competed in the team time trial at the 1972 Summer Olympics. He died of a heart attack in 1977.
