Paul Jones (born May 17, 1992) is an American football quarterback. He played for the Penn State Nittany Lions from 2010 to 2012. He transferred to Robert Morris University and played for the Robert Morris Colonials in 2013.
Jones grew up in McKees Rocks, PA and attended Sto-Rox School District where he played high school football under Jason Ruscitto. [1]

Jones graduated high school early and enrolled for the spring semester at Penn State in the spring of 2009. [2] During his freshman season in 2010, Jones was a Redshirt and served as the quarterback on Penn State's scout team. While he showed promise and was expected to compete for the quarterback job in 2011, he had academic troubles and was forced to sit out due to ineligibility. [3] He did regain eligibility for the 2012 season. Though he was initially entrenched in a 4-way QB competition with Matt McGloin, Rob Bolden and Shane McGregor, he was moved to tight end and appeared in his first game against Navy, where he caught one pass for seven yards. [4] Jones left the Penn State football team midway through the 2012 season. He transferred from Penn State to Robert Morris University, where he will have two years of eligibility remaining. Jones is projected as the odds on favorite to be the starting quarterback at RMU for the 2013 season. Jones was ruled academically ineligible for the 2014 season. [5]
Jones is the son of Paul Sr. and Jenifer Jones. He has 4 younger brothers: Malcolm, Jeremiah, Daniel, and Kristifer. He also has a sister, Jena.
Garrett Antone Gilbert is an American former professional football player who was a quarterback for seven seasons in the National Football League (NFL). The son of former NFL quarterback Gale Gilbert, he played college football for the Texas Longhorns and SMU Mustangs.
Robert Brewer is a former American football player. He played quarterback for the University of Texas Longhorns during the 1981 and 1982 season. He is the last walk-on quarterback to start for Texas and the last to start in the Cotton Bowl. His most memorable moment was the late touchdown he scored against Alabama to guide Texas to a 1982 Cotton Bowl Classic win. He is also the younger member of the only father-son combination to start at quarterback for Texas. Both father and son led Longhorn teams to victory over Bear Bryant coached teams.
Daryll Lawrence Clark is an American former professional football player who was a quarterback. He was signed by the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League (CFL) as a free agent in 2010. He played collegiately for the Penn State Nittany Lions. From 2005 until 2009, Clark was the Nittany Lions' all-time passing touchdowns leader, as well as numerous other passing records. Clark was recruited to Penn State out of Ursuline High School in Youngstown by way of The Kiski School in Saltsburg, Pennsylvania. Clark has also been a member of the Omaha Nighthawks, Chicago Rush and Myrtle Beach Freedom.
Adam DiMichele is an American football coach and former quarterback. He was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2009. He played college football at Temple. DiMichele was also a member of the Calgary Stampeders, Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Erie Explosion and Philadelphia Soul.
Robert Patrick "Tate" Forcier is a former American football quarterback. He was a starting quarterback for the 2009 Michigan Wolverines football team ahead of Denard Robinson, and Robinson's backup for the 2010 Michigan Wolverines football team. He left the program in January 2011 when head coach Rich Rodriguez was replaced by Brady Hoke. He missed the January 1, 2011 Gator Bowl after being ruled academically ineligible and was no longer enrolled at the university when the new term began following the semester break. On February 9, 2011, Forcier announced his transfer to the University of Miami. He originally intended to redshirt the 2011 season and play for the Miami Hurricanes football team in the 2012 and 2013 season but instead transferred to San Jose State University to play for the Spartans football team. He soon withdrew from the San Jose State football program. He then attended training camp with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League.

Matthew James McGloin is a former American football quarterback who played for the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). He was the starting quarterback for the Penn State Nittany Lions football team from 2010 to 2012. McGloin was the first walk-on quarterback to start at Penn State since scholarships were reinstated in 1949.

The 2011 Penn State Nittany Lions football team represented the Pennsylvania State University in the 2011 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team was coached by Joe Paterno for the first nine games until he was fired in the wake of the Penn State sex abuse scandal, with defensive coordinator Tom Bradley taking over as interim head coach for the remainder of the season. The team played its home games in Beaver Stadium in University Park, Pennsylvania, US. They were members of the Big Ten Conference in the newly formed Leaders Division. They finished the season 9–4, 6–2 in the Leaders Division to be co–division champions with Wisconsin. Due to their head-to-head loss to Wisconsin, they did not represent the division in the inaugural Big Ten Championship Game. They were invited to the TicketCity Bowl where they lost to Houston 14–30.
