Paul Mather is a Canadian TV writer and producer. He is most known in Canada for his work on Corner Gas , Little Mosque on the Prairie and Rick Mercer Report . [1] He also created or co-created the sitcoms Men with Brooms [2] and Dan for Mayor . [3]

In 2013, Mather was supervising producer on NBC's The Michael J. Fox Show . [4]

North York is one of the six administrative districts of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Little Mosque on the Prairie is a Canadian television sitcom created by Zarqa Nawaz and produced by WestWind Pictures, originally broadcast from 2007 to 2012 on CBC. Filmed in Toronto, Ontario, and Indian Head, Saskatchewan, the series was showcased at the Dawn Breakers International Film Festival. After the series finale aired in April 2012, Hulu announced it would begin offering the series under the name Little Mosque that summer. The series made its U.S. syndication debut on Pivot in August 2013.

Quebec City mosque shooting Mass shooting in Quebec, Canada

The Quebec City mosque shooting was a terrorist attack by 27-year-old Alexandre Bissonnette on the evening of January 29, 2017, at the Islamic Cultural Centre of Quebec City, a mosque in the Sainte-Foy neighbourhood of Quebec City, Canada. Six worshippers were killed and five others seriously injured after evening prayers when a man entered the prayer hall shortly before 8:00 pm and opened fire for about two minutes with a 9mm Glock pistol. Approximately 40 people were reported present at the time of the shooting.
