Stevland Hardaway Morris, known professionally as Stevie Wonder, is an American singer, songwriter, musician and record producer. At the 56th Annual Grammy Awards, Cobbs won the Grammy for Best Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music Performance. She has also won 3 Stellar Awards and 3 Dove Awards.
William Henry Murphy III is an American gospel recording artist and pastor. He started his music career in 2005, with the release of All Day on Epic Records. This album was listed on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart. His second album, The Sound, was released in 2007 on Central South, and was listed on the Top Gospel Albums chart as well. He self-released We Are One in 2011. This album was listed on the Top Gospel Albums chart, along with the Heatseekers Albums chart. His fourth album, God Chaser, was released in 2013 on Verity. The album reached the Gospel Albums chart, as well as the Billboard 200.Murphy is pastor of the dReam Center Church of Atlanta, which he founded.
Ricky Rydell Dillard is an American gospel musician. He started his music career, in 1987, as a Chicago house musician. His first Christian music album was Promise, by Muscle Shoals Records. His next album, A Holy Ghost Take-Over, was released in 1993 by Malaco Records. The subsequent album, Hallelujah, was released by them in 1995. Crystal Spring Records released, 1996's Work It Out, 2000's No Limit, and Unplugged in 2004. With EMI Gospel, he released, 7th Episode, that came out in 2007. He released, Keep Living, with Light Records in 2011. His next release, Amazing, came out in 2014 with Entertainment One Music.
Sheri Jones-Moffett, is an American gospel musician. She started her music career, in 1992, with the Tri City Singers, which was a group assembled and led by Donald Lawrence. Her solo career got started in 2009 with Renewed that was released by EMI Gospel. She got a Grammy Award nomination for Renewed at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards in the Best Contemporary R&B Gospel Album category. She released the second album, Power & Authority, in 2014 by Motown Gospel. These albums both chart on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart.
Maurette Brown Clark, is an American gospel musician. She started her solo music career in 1998 with the release of How I Feel on Verity Records. Her subsequent three album were released by Atlanta International Records, with 2002's By His Grace, 2007's The Dream and 2011's The Sound of Victory. They all charted on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart. Clark has also been a member of Richard Smallwood's group, Vision, since its inception in 1996
Dawkins & Dawkins is an American gospel music and Christian R&B duo from Davenport, Iowa, who are currently signed to Legacy Music Group. The group consist of two brothers, Anson Dawkins and Eric Dawkins. The first album, Dawkins & Dawkins, was released in 1993 by A&M Records. This was the only record released with the label. Their second album, Necessary Measures, released in 1994 by CGI Records. The third album, Focus, was released by Harmony Records in 1998. This album was their breakthrough release on the Billboard charts, by placing on the Gospel Albums chart. They released, From Now On, in 2011 with Light Records a division of Entertainment One Music. The album placed on the Gospel Albums chart along with the Independent Albums chart.
The Christianaires was an American black gospel music group from Sontag, Mississippi, they were active from 1989 until 2004. At its inception, The group consisted of two sibling pairs, two brothers, Arnold and Ronald Brown, and two more brothers, Paul and Tyrone Porter. Later on with the subtraction of Paul Porter and Ronald Brown, the group added George Carter and Charles Porter. They released ten albums with various labels during their tenure, and those were 1989's Walking with Me, 1990's Ain't No Way I Could and Another Step Forward, 1993's The Vision Becomes Clearer, 1995's Thru the Storm and Reaching Out, 1997's Saints Hold On, 1998's Standing Room Only, 2001's Thank You, and 2004's Stand Up! Live. The group's albums Another Step Forward, The Vision Becomes Clearer, Standing Room Only, and Thank You charted on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart.
Jason Lamar Champion is an American gospel musician. He started a music career in 1992 with Men at Large. He left the group in 2007 due to a "newly blossoming relationship with Jesus Christ." In 2008, he signed to EMI CMG, releasing his first and only album, Reflections, in 2008. It charted on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart, and he got a Grammy Award nomination at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards in the Best Contemporary R&B Gospel Album category.
Melvin LeVarn Williams is an American gospel musician. He started his solo music career, in 1988, with the release of, Back to the Cross, that was released by Compendia Music Group. His second album, In Living Color – LIVE, was released in 1992, with the backing of Blackberry Records releasing the project. His third album, Never Seen Your Face, was released in 1998, His fourth album, Duets, was released in 2001. His fifth album Crazy Like Love, and sixth album, Love Like Crazy, was released on the same date in 2007. His seventh album, The Best of Melvin Williams, was released in 2009. And his eighth album, Where I Started From, was released in 2017 with his vanity label, Melvin Williams Entertainment's partnership with New Day Christian Distributors. All of these albums, charted on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart.
Douglas LeAllen Williams is an American music artist. He started his solo music career, in 1995, with the release of gospel album, Heartsongs, that was released by Blackberry Records. The album got him a Grammy Award nomination at the 38th Annual Grammy Awards for the Best Contemporary R&B Gospel Album. His second album, When Mercy Found Me, was released in 2003, with the backing of Blackberry Records releasing the project. His third album, Good Graces, was released in 2005 by Orchard Records. The first two of these album charted on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart.
Natalie Wilson, is an American gospel musician and artist. She started her music career, in 2000, with the release of Girl Director by Interscope Records. This would be her Billboard magazine breakthrough release upon the Gospel Albums and the R&B Albums charts. Her second album, Good Life, was released in 2003 by GospoCentric. The album would chart again on the two aforementioned charts.
Charles C. Jenkins II is an American gospel musician in. He started his music career, in 2012, with the release of The Best of Both Worlds by Inspired People and EMI Gospel. This would be his Billboard magazine breakthrough release. His second album, Any Given Sunday, was released by Inspired People and Motown Gospel in 2015. The album again placed on the Billboard magazine charts.
Milbert E.S. McKenzie, who goes by the stage name Doc McKenzie, is an American gospel musician. He started his music career, in 1990, with six album releases, that was released by Atlanta International Records, Savoy Records, and Meltone Records. Milbert released three albums of note, Ride with Jesus in 1996 with First Lite Records, 1998's Live again with First Lite, and 2009's Renewed with Ophir Records, which all of these albums charted on the Billboard magazine charts, exclusively on the Gospel Albums chart.
Benjamin "Benjah" Thom, who goes by the stage name Benjah, is an American songwriter and producer. He has released seven studio albums since 2009.
Trecina Evette "Tina" Campbell is an American urban contemporary gospel, Christian R&B and contemporary R&B recording artist and musician. She started her music career in 1998 with her older sister, Erica Campbell, as part of the gospel music group, Mary Mary. Her solo music career began in 2014, and has since released one studio album with Gee Tree Creative, where it charted on the Billboard magazine chart. She released her second studio album, It's Still Personal on September 29, 2017.
