The Clark Sisters are an American gospel vocal group originally consisting of five sisters: Jacky Clark Chisholm, Denise "Niecy" Clark-Bradford, Elbernita "Twinkie" Clark, Dorinda Clark-Cole, and Karen Clark Sheard. The Clark Sisters are the daughters of gospel musician and choral director Dr. Mattie Moss Clark. Do You Know is the second studio album by American singer and songwriter Michelle Williams. It was released by the Sanctuary Records Group and Columbia Records on January 26, 2004 in the United States. Do You Know "straddles between contemporary gospel and inspirational R&B" and is described as portraying "a more intimate side of Michelle". It contains a greater percentage of mid and up-tempo songs, along with a much heavier and grander use of live instrumentation. Journey to Freedom is the fourth studio album by American recording artist Michelle Williams, released on September 9, 2014, by E1 Music and Light Records. It marked her first release under the label after severing professional ties with longtime record company Columbia Records and manager Mathew Knowles in 2009. Sheri Jones-Moffett, is an American gospel musician. She started her music career, in 1992, with the Tri City Singers, which was a group assembled and led by Donald Lawrence. Her solo career got started in 2009 with Renewed that was released by EMI Gospel. She got a Grammy Award nomination for Renewed at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards in the Best Contemporary R&B Gospel Album category. She released the second album, Power & Authority, in 2014 by Motown Gospel. These albums both chart on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart.
The Christianaires was an American black gospel music group from Sontag, Mississippi, they were active from 1983 until 2004. At its inception, The group consisted of two sibling pairs, two brothers, Arnold and Ronald Brown, and two more brothers, Paul and Tyrone Porter. Later on with the subtraction of Paul Porter and Ronald Brown, the group added George Carter and Charles Porter. They released ten albums with various labels during their tenure, and those were 1989's Walking with Me, 1990's Ain't No Way I Could and Another Step Forward, 1993's The Vision Becomes Clearer, 1995's Thru the Storm and Reaching Out, 1997's Saints Hold On, 1998's Standing Room Only, 2001's Thank You, and 2004's Stand Up! Live. The group's albums Another Step Forward, The Vision Becomes Clearer, Standing Room Only, and Thank You charted on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart.
Charles C. Jenkins II is an American gospel musician. He started his music career in 2012 with the release of The Best of Both Worlds by Inspired People and EMI Gospel. This would be his Billboard magazine breakthrough release. His second album, Any Given Sunday, was released by Inspired People and Motown Gospel in 2015. The album again placed on the Billboard magazine charts.
Milbert E.S. McKenzie, who goes by the stage name Doc McKenzie, is an American gospel musician. He started his music career in 1990, and released six albums, which were released by Atlanta International Records, Savoy Records, and Meltone Records. Milbert released three albums of note, Ride with Jesus in 1996 with First Lite Records, 1998's Live, also with First Lite, and 2009's Renewed with Ophir Records, all of which charted on the Billboard magazine charts, exclusively on the Gospel Albums chart.
Benjamin "Benjah" Thom, who goes by the stage name Benjah, is an American songwriter and producer. He has released seven studio albums since 2009.
John Lawrence Givens, known professionally as John Givez and sometimes Juan Dando, is an American musician, who plays hip hop, R&B, soul, funk and neo soul music. He is cousins with fellow rapper JGivens. John has released two studio albums, Four Seasons in 2013, Soul Rebel in 2015, while both releases charted on the Billboard magazine charts.
