The Bangladesh national football team is the national recognised football team of Bangladesh and is controlled by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF). Saif Sporting Club was an association football club based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Bashundhara Kings is a professional football club based in Bashundhara Residential Area, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The club competes in the Bangladesh Premier League, the top tier of the Bangladesh football league system. The club was established in 2013 and debuted in Bangladesh Premier League during the 2018–19 season. The club is owned and managed by Bashundhara Group.
The 2019–20 Bangladesh Premier League was the 12th season of the Bangladesh Premier League since its establishment in 2007. A total of 13 football clubs competed in the league, and Bashundhara Kings were the defending champions. Bangladesh Police FC and Uttar Baridhara SC entered as the promoted teams from the 2018–19 Bangladesh Championship League.
The 2019–20 season is Bashundhara Kings's 3rd professional season since its creation in 2013, and its second consecutive season in the top-flight of Bangladesh football. The season began on 13 February 2020 and was suspended on 15 March 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the Bangladesh. On 17 May 2020, the league was declared void by the BFF executive committee.
Mohammed Foysal Ahmed Fahim, known as Fahim, is a Bangladeshi professional footballer who plays as a left winger for Bangladesh Premier League club Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club and the Bangladesh national team. A versatile player, Fahim can also operate as a right winger, striker or attacking midfielder.

Mirajul Islam, commonly known as Miraj, is a Bangladeshi professional footballer who plays as a striker for Bangladesh Premier League club Abahani Limited Dhaka and the Bangladesh national team.
