Paul James Stevens (born 31 July 1973) is a former English cricketer, born in Eastbourne, Sussex. A right-handed batsman and wicket-keeper, he played a few times for Sussex County Cricket Club's Second XI in 1992, and made eight List A appearances for the Sussex Cricket Board team between 1998 and 2002, all in the NatWest Trophy and its successor the C&G Trophy.
His highest score was a 62 against Shropshire in 2001. His last game was in 2002 when he sent down three overs for 18 runs without taking a wicket. He took 11 catches, and made one stumping, the latter being that of Herefordshire's Neeraj Prabhu.

Zaheer Khan is an Indian former professional cricketer who played all forms of the game for the Indian national team from 2000 till 2014. He is a fast-medium left-arm bowler. He was the second-most successful Indian pace bowler in Test cricket, behind Kapil Dev. Zaheer Khan started his domestic career by playing for Baroda. In the early years of his career, Zaheer Khan was known for his hostile seam and pace bowling, especially fast inch-perfect yorkers. He is often considered one of the best Indian fast bowlers.
Mushtaq Ahmed is a Pakistani cricket coach and former cricketer who currently acts as the spin bowling coach for the Pakistan Cricket Team. A leg break googly bowler, at his peak he was described as being one of the best three wrist-spinners in the world. In an international career that spanned from 1990 until 2003, he claimed 185 wickets in Test cricket and 161 in One Day Internationals. He was at his most prolific internationally between 1995 and 1998, but his most successful years were as a domestic player for Sussex in the early 2000s.

Sussex County Cricket Club is the oldest of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Sussex. Its limited overs team is called the Sussex Sharks. The club was founded in 1839 as a successor to the various Sussex county cricket teams, including the old Brighton Cricket Club, which had been representative of the county of Sussex as a whole since the 1720s. James Andrew Tomlinson is an English former cricketer. A left-arm medium pace bowler, capable of producing swing at a brisk pace, Tomlinson first appeared in senior cricket for the Hampshire Cricket Board in List A cricket in the 2000 NatWest Trophy. He first appeared for Hampshire in first-class cricket in 2002, at this stage of career he had to work his cricket career around his studies at Cardiff University. In 2003 he was Hampshire's recipient of the NBC Denis Compton Award. His early career with Hampshire was beset by injury, which limited his appearances. By 2008, Tomlinson had established himself in the Hampshire team, mostly as a specialist first-class player. It was in this season that he became the first Hampshire bowler since Malcolm Marshall to end the season as the leading wicket taker in the County Championship, finishing with 67 wickets.
Darren Ian Stevens is an English former professional cricketer who played for Leicestershire and Kent County Cricket Clubs between 1997 and 2022. An all-rounder, he played as right-handed batsman and bowled right-arm medium-pace deliveries. He scored over 16,000 first-class runs and after the age of 35 took more than 500 wickets and more than 30 five-wicket hauls. Stevens was named as one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in the 2021 edition of the almanack.
Paul McCrum is an Irish former cricketer. A right-handed batsman and right-arm fast-medium bowler, he played 74 times for the Ireland cricket team between 1989 and 1998 including four first-class matches against Scotland and 16 List A matches. He also played for the Northern Ireland national cricket team in the cricket tournament at the 1998 Commonwealth Games.

The 2020 Bob Willis Trophy was a first-class cricket tournament held in the 2020 English cricket season, and the inaugural edition of the Bob Willis Trophy. It was separate from the County Championship, which was not held in 2020 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom. The eighteen county cricket teams were split into three regional groups of six, with the two group winners with the most points advancing to a final held at Lord's. The maximum number of overs bowled in a day was reduced from 96 to 90, and the team's first innings could be no longer than 120 overs.
Jack Joshua Carson is a professional cricketer. He made his first-class debut on 1 August 2020, for Sussex in the 2020 Bob Willis Trophy. He was Sussex's leading wicket-taker in the competition, and also the 2021 County Championship. Carson is eligible to play international cricket for either England or Ireland.
