Paul Swift is a British driver known for stunt driving, autotesting, precision driving, live-action arena and motor shows, including the UK Motorshow and Top Gear Live.
Swift started his stunt driving career at the age of seven, when he learned to drive his family’s ride-on-lawn-mower on two wheels. Within three months of practicing, he set a world record performing the stunt over a distance of 230m. His first-ever precision driving show was as part of his father's display team (Russ Swift) in a Miniature Rover Montego at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. At age 16, Swift began competing in auto testing with both Durham and Hartlepool motor clubs. After winning the regional championship in 1998, he moved up to the national championship. He ultimately won seven national titles, winning over 40 national events outright, as well as representing England on many occasions.
In 2006, Swift became the first Englishman ever to win a round of the Northern Irish Autotest Championship outright, in a borrowed Mini Special. [1] The following season, after winning his seventh British Championship, Swift announced his retirement from auto testing and left his job as a mechanical engineer to concentrate fully on stunt driving.

Swift has appeared on BBC's Top Gear television on a number of occasions, [3] and led the Top Gear Live stunt team for seven years. He has appeared on television programs including Britain’s Got Talent, Emmerdale, Fifth Gear , and Guinness World Records Smashed .
Sir John Young Stewart OBE is a British former Formula One racing driver from Scotland. Nicknamed the "Flying Scot", he competed in Formula One between 1965 and 1973, winning three World Drivers' Championships and twice finishing as runner-up over those nine seasons. He was the only British driver to win three championships until Lewis Hamilton in 2015.

The Stig is a character from the British motoring television show Top Gear. Created by former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson and producer Andy Wilman, the character is a play on the anonymity of racing drivers' full-face helmets, with the running joke that nobody knows who or what is inside the Stig's racing suit. The Stig's primary role is setting lap times for cars tested on the show. Previously, he would also instruct celebrity guests, off-camera, for the show's "Star in a Reasonably Priced Car" segment.

Melvin Eugene "Tony" Bettenhausen was an American racing driver known primarily for his open-wheel career. He twice won the National Championship, doing so in 1951 and 1958. He also competed in stock cars, winning under AAA and USAC sanction.

Fifth Gear is a British motoring television magazine series which has been broadcast since 2002. Originally shown on Channel 5 from 2002 to 2011, it began as a continuation of the original version of the BBC show Top Gear, which ran from 1977 until being cancelled in 2001. It moved to the Discovery Channel in 2012, then in 2015 to History; since 2018 it has been broadcast on Quest. Following a 2021 relaunch, with an emphasis on electric cars, it has been branded as Fifth Gear Recharged. The show is currently presented by Vicki Butler-Henderson, Sid North, Karun Chandhok and Jason Plato with Grace Webb and engineer Jimmy de Ville also involved in reports. Cameron 'Conkers' McConville is an Australian racing driver and motorsport celebrity. While retired from full-time competition, McConville still races occasionally and is an in-demand endurance event co-driver. McConville spent 14 years as a professional driver, ten of those in the largest Australian domestic category, Supercars Championship. McConville has also written for several magazines and presented several television programs and up until the end of the 2009 season was the colour commentator for Network Ten's Australian coverage of Formula One. McConville announced his retirement from full-time racing for the end of the 2009 season. He is also rumoured to be The Stig in Top Gear Australia.

The Nissan GT-R is a car built by Japanese marque Nissan since 2007. It has a 2+2 seating layout and is considered both a sports car and a grand tourer. The engine is front-mid mounted and drives all four wheels. It succeeds the Nissan Skyline GT-R, a faster variant of the Nissan Skyline.
