Role Rider

Paulino Martínez (born 31 August 1952) is a former Spanish racing cyclist. He rode in four Grand Tours between 1978 and 1981. [1] He also competed in the road race event at the 1976 Summer Olympics. [2]

In road bicycle racing, a Grand Tour is one of the three major European professional cycling stage races: Giro d'Italia, Tour de France and Vuelta a España. Collectively they are termed the Grand Tours, and all three races are similar in format being multi-week races with daily stages. They have a special status in the UCI regulations: more points for the UCI World Tour are distributed in Grand Tours than in other races, and they are the only stage races allowed to last longer than 14 days.

These are the official results of the Men's Individual Road Race at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, held on 26 July 1976. Fifty-eight cyclists finished the race.
