Paulius Dambrauskas (born 16 December 1991) is a Lithuanian basketball player who last played for Astoria Bydgoszcz of the Polish Basketball League. [1]

Professional career

In 2010, Dambrauskas signed a long-term contract with BC Lietuvos Rytas. [2] In the 2012–13 season BC Sakalai loaned Dambrauskas from Lietuvos Rytas. [3] In February he suffered a shoulder injury and was not able to play for 4 months. [4]

After recovering from the injury he started the 2013–14 season with Lietuvos Rytas, but later that year was loaned to BC Dzūkija. [5] In the 2013–14 season he also started in Lietuvos Rytas, but once again later that year was loaned to BC Dzūkija. [6] From 2015 August he played for BC Šiauliai. [7] In 2016-17 Dambrauskas played in Maurienne Savoie Basket, and for the first time in his career outside Lithuania. [8]

On June 28, 2019, he signed with Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski of the Polish Basketball League. [9] Dambrauskas averaged 12.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.

On September 14, 2020, he has signed with Astoria Bydgoszcz of the Polish Basketball League. [10]

Big Baller Brand Challenge Games were a series of friendly basketball games between Vytautas Prienai–Birštonas of the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) and five teams in the LKL, National Basketball League (NKL), and Regional Basketball League (RKL). It began on January 9 and ended on January 28, 2018. The games were designed by Vytautas to give more exposure to its new signees, brothers LaMelo and LiAngelo Ball, and resulted in the team's withdrawal from the 2017–18 Baltic Basketball League season. The games were sponsored by Big Baller Brand, an athletic apparel company founded by the brothers' father LaVar Ball, and were streamed on Facebook Live via Ballislife Weekly Showcase.

The 2017–18 BC Prienai season is the 23rd season in the existence of the club, which was known as Vytautas Prienai–Birštonas for sponsorship reasons. The team played in the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) but also briefly participated in the Baltic Basketball League (BBL) and in the qualifying round of Basketball Champions League (BCL). The season was highlighted with both on-court and financial struggles, dating as far back as 2016, and several roster changes.

The 2019–20 BC Žalgiris season is the 76th season in the existence of the club. The club has been playing in the Betsafe-LKL, King Mindaugas Cup and the EuroLeague.

The 2020–21 BC Žalgiris season is the 77th season in the existence of the club. The club has been playing in the Betsafe-LKL, King Mindaugas Cup and the EuroLeague.
