The Prix Iris is a Canadian film award, presented annually by Québec Cinéma, which recognizes talent and achievement in the mainly francophone feature film industry in Quebec. Until 2016, it was known as the Jutra Award in memory of influential Quebec film director Claude Jutra, but Jutra's name was withdrawn from the awards following the publication of Yves Lever's biography of Jutra, which alleged that he had sexually abused children.

The Prix Gratien-Gélinas, originally known as Prime à la création du Fonds Gratien-Gélinas, is a Canadian theatre prize awarded for an original script with the aim of helping bring it to the stage. It was first awarded in 1994. It is presented by the Centre des auteurs dramatiques du Québec with the financial support of Quebecor, Cirque du Soleil and Ici Radio-Canada. Named in honour of Gratien Gélinas, it is considered the most important Canadian award recognizing emerging talent in francophone playwriting.
Normand de Bellefeuille (French:[nɔʁmɑ̃dəbɛlfœj]; 31 December 1949 – 8 January 2024) was a Canadian poet, writer, literary critic, and essayist. He was a two-time winner of the Governor General's Award for French-language poetry, winning at the 2000 Governor General's Awards for La Marche de l'aveugle sans son chien and at the 2016 Governor General's Awards for Le poème est une maison de bord de mer.

The Eighth Floor is a Canadian documentary film, directed by Pedro Ruiz and released in 2023. The film is a portrait of Jacques Lanctôt, a member of the Front de libération du Québec in the 1970s who spent a number of years living in exile in Cuba, before returning to Canada, serving a prison sentence, and then becoming a writer and publisher.
