FC Myr Hornostayivka is a professional Ukrainian football club from the village of Hornostayivka, Novotroyisk Raion (district), Kherson Oblast, just north of the Crimean peninsula.

Viktor Bannikov Memorial Tournament is annual summer association football friendly competition for junior teams that take place in various cities of Ukraine, since 1998. This tournament was created in honour and memory of the legendary goalkeeper of the USSR national football team and the first president of the Football Federation of Ukraine Viktor Bannikov (1938-2001), hence the name Memorial. The tournament was initially established in 1998 as a competition for junior teams of Ukrainian football clubs. Victor Bannikov opened his first edition. It was participated by 12 teams. DFK "ATEK" won defeating opponents from FC Dynamo Kyiv. In 1999, the tournament has received international status and was participated by 16 junior teams. In 2002, the Ukrainian football federation has decided to give more importance professional status, inviting the participation of junior national teams.

Middle Dnieper Hydroelectric Power Plant

The Middle Dnieper Hydroelectric Station is a run-of-river power plant on the Dnieper River in Kamianske, Ukraine. The primary purpose of the dam is hydroelectric power generation and navigation. It is the fourth dam in the Dnieper cascade. The dam has an associated lock and a power station with an installed capacity of 352 MW. Construction on the dam began in 1956 and the last generator was commissioned in 1964. It is operated by Ukrhydroenerho.

The 2014–15 Ukrainian First League was the 24th since its establishment. The competition commenced on 26 July 2014 with seven matches. Due to sponsorship reasons the league is called Favbet League 1. The competition was on winter recess from 17 November until 20 March when the competition resumed with the Round 18 match between FC Ternopil and MFC Mykolaiv.

The decision on a schedule of competitions for clubs from the First and Second League in the composition was confirmed on 3 July 2015 at a session of Central Council of the Professional Football League of Ukraine

The 2015–16 Ukrainian Premier League season is the 25th top level football competitions since the fall of the Soviet Union and the eighth since the establishment of the Ukrainian Premier League. Because of sponsorship the league changed its title for 2015–16 season to League Parimatch. The competition commenced on 17 July when Metalurh Zaporizhia hosted Zorya Luhansk in Zaporizhia. The first sixteen rounds were played before the winter break which began 6 December 2015; the competition resumed on 5 March 2016. The season concluded on 15 May 2016. Dynamo Kyiv are the defending champions. With the continuation of the Ukrainian crisis in the oblasts of Donetsk and Luhansk, the league remained at 14 teams after being cut from 16 in the 2013–14 season.

The 2017–18 season was 3rd consecutive season in the top Ukrainian football league and the last season for Stal Kamianske. Stal competed in Premier League and Ukrainian Cup. After finishing at 12th position Stal was relegated to First League at the end of the season. The team officially relocated to Bucha, Kiev Oblast and renamed to Feniks in the 2018–19 midseason. However before the start of next season new club withdrew from 2018–19 Ukrainian First League due to financial difficulties.

The 2017–18 Ukrainian Cup was the 27th annual season of Ukraine's football knockout competition. The competition was planned to be started on 9 July 2017 and concluded on 9 May 2018.

Igor Serhiiovych Trunov is a Ukrainian sprint canoeist. At the 2013 Summer Universiade he won silver in K-4 200 m. He is European Championships medalist. At the 2017 European championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, he finished third in pair with Ivan Semykin in K-2 500 m.
