Perry Martin (born 1993) is an English international lawn and Indoor bowler. [1]

Bowls career

He won the Men's Champion of Champions Singles Champions in 2016 at the National Championships. [2] Martin was the 2015 National Junior Championship Runner-up.

As of 2020 he was ranked number 20 in the world (indoors). [3] Martin reached the quarterfinals of men's singles at the 2021 World Indoor Bowls Championship but he and his quarterfinal opponent Wayne Willgress were both forced to withdraw following a positive Coronavirus test. [4]

The 2021 Just World Indoor Bowls Championship took place at Potters Leisure Resort, Hopton-on-Sea, Great Yarmouth, England, from 8–24 January 2021. The event was organised by the World Bowls Tour, televised by the BBC and streamed live on YouTube. The event was played behind closed doors and there was no under-25 competition due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a consequence of the pandemic there were no overseas players involved.
