Pete Dominguez is an American professional basketball coach who is an assistant coach for the Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Coaching career

Dominguez began his NBA coaching career in 2018 as a video coordinator for the Los Angeles Clippers under head coach Doc Rivers. [1]

In 2020, Dominguez joined the Philadelphia 76ers as a coaching associate, reuniting with head coach Doc Rivers. [2]

In 2023, Dominguez was briefly the head coach of Obras Sanitarias of the Argentine National Basketball League, before leaving to join the Bucks of the NBA. [3]

In 2024, the Milwaukee Bucks named Dominguez as an assistant coach under head coach Doc Rivers. [4]

Dominguez also serves as a lead assistant coach for the Armenia men's national basketball team under head coach Rex Kalamian. [5]

Personal life

Dominguez is a graduate of San Francisco State University. [6]

He also coached the Sioux Falls Skyforce from 2004 to 2006, winning a championship in 2005. In the NBA, Joerger served as head coach of the Memphis Grizzlies from 2013 to 2016, and Sacramento Kings from 2016 to 2019.

Rex Kalamian is an American professional basketball coach who serves as an assistant coach for the Milwaukee Bucks and the head coach for the Armenia men's national basketball team. He was formerly a Pro Player Personnel Scout for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He previously had coaching terms with the Los Angeles Clippers, Denver Nuggets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Sacramento Kings, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Toronto Raptors. He is well known for his nine years with the Clippers.
