Peter Badovinac (born October 6, 1989) is an American football coach who is currently an offensive assistant at Baylor University. [1]
Badovinac played high school football at Loyola Academy where he was coached by former NFL linebacker, John Holecek. In 2007 he was selected Chicago Catholic League Offensive Player of the Year. [2] He started his collegiate career in 2008 at Drake, where he redshirted and then played one season prior to transferring to Michigan State. He then played for the Spartans from 2010 to 2012. During his time at MSU, the Spartans won the 2010 Big Ten Championship, played in the inaugural Big Ten Championship Game in 2011, and won two bowl games. [3]
Following his playing career, Badovinac worked for two years at Missouri, where he helped the Tigers to a 22-5 record and back-to-back SEC East titles. Badovinac began his career in coaching as a recruiting graduate assistant at Missouri prior to serving as a defensive graduate assistant for the 2013 and 2014 seasons. [4]
Badovinac worked for three years (2015–17) as the linebackers coach and recruiting coordinator at Missouri State. During his time with the Bears, Badovinac mentored 2016 consensus All-American and current Houston Texans Dylan Cole, who was a finalist for the Buck Buchanan Award after leading the nation in tackles per game. On March 9, 2018, Badovinac was hired as a defensive graduate assistant at Ohio State. The Buckeyes won the Big Ten Conference and the Rose Bowl. [6]
In January 2019, Badovinac was hired as a defensive graduate assistant at Oklahoma, a position he held briefly before leaving to join the Arizona Cardinals. [7]
On February 6, 2019, Badovinac was hired by the Arizona Cardinals to be their assistant wide receivers coach. [3]
Badovinac is currently an offensive assistant at Baylor University.
Robert Anthony Stoops is an American football coach who is the head coach for the Arlington Renegades of the United Football League (UFL). He was the head football coach at the University of Oklahoma from 1999 through the 2016 season, and on an interim basis during the 2021 Alamo Bowl. He led the Oklahoma Sooners to a record of 191–48 over his career. His 2000 Oklahoma Sooners football team won the 2001 Orange Bowl, which served as the BCS National Championship Game, and earned a consensus national championship. Since 2020, Stoops has been a head coach with the XFL, coaching the Renegades in 2020 and has been re-signed for 2023. Stoops' Renegades won the XFL Championship in 2023.
Michael Joseph Stoops is an American football coach and former player, who is the inside linebackers coach at the University of Kentucky. Stoops also served as the head football coach at the University of Arizona from 2003 until his firing during the 2011 season. He previously served as an assistant football coach at the University of Iowa, Kansas State University, and University of Oklahoma. He is the younger brother of Bob Stoops, the former head coach of the Oklahoma Sooners football program, and the older brother of Mark Stoops, head coach of the Kentucky Wildcats football program. He returned to Oklahoma as the defensive coordinator in 2012. He served in the position until he was fired on October 7, 2018. After spending time at the University of Alabama as an analyst, he spent one season as the defensive coordinator of the Florida Atlantic Owls in 2021.
Russell Scott Grimm is an American former professional football player who was a guard for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL). He has also served as an assistant coach for the Redskins, Pittsburgh Steelers, Arizona Cardinals, and Tennessee Titans. As a professional, Grimm had multiple selections to both the All-Pro and Pro Bowl teams, and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2010. Grimm played 11 seasons for the Redskins and was a first-team selection to the NFL 1980s All-Decade Team.

Isaiah "Mike" Caldwell, Jr. is an American football coach who is the linebackers coach & run game coordinator for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as the defensive coordinator for the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2022 to 2023. After the entire Jacksonville defensive staff was fired in early 2024, he joined the Las Vegas Raiders as their linebackers coach and run game coordinator.

Northwestern had played in the previous Rose Bowl.
The 1972 Michigan Wolverines football team was an American football team that represented the University of Michigan in the 1972 Big Ten Conference football season. In their fourth season under head coach Bo Schembechler, the Wolverines compiled a 10–1 record, outscored opponents 264–57, and were ranked sixth in both final polls. Offensive guard Tom Coyle and defensive back Randy Logan were the team captains.

Mike Tressel is an American football coach who is currently the defensive coordinator and inside linebackers coach for the Wisconsin Badgers. Tressel, the nephew of former Ohio State head coach Jim Tressel, joined the University of Cincinnati's football coaching staff under Mark Dantonio in 2004. Tressel followed Dantonio to Michigan State when he was hired there in December 2006. He was named the acting head coach when Dantonio announced his retirement in February 2020. Tressel was one of two Dantonio assistants retained by Dantonio's successor, Mel Tucker.
