Selangor Football Club, is a Malaysian professional football club based in the city of Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. Officially founded in 1936 by the Football Association of Selangor (FAS), the association built its football development as a result of a merger with the Selangor Association Football League and forming the professional football team known as Selangor. FC Petržalka is a Slovak football club based in Bratislava. The club was founded in 1898 and it was promoted twice to the top flight 1. liga in the Czechoslovakia during the 1980s and spent another 14 consecutive seasons in the Slovak first league from 1996–97 to 2009–10. The biggest international success of Petržalka was participation in the group stage of the 2005–06 UEFA Champions League and Round of 32 of the 2005–06 UEFA Cup. Several years later, after losing its owner, a different company took over the piece of land under the club's old home ground Štadión Petržalka for commercial building and the stadium was demolished.
The 2013 Lebanese football match-fixing scandal was part of a worldwide FIFA investigation with the intent of cracking down on match fixing. Many players were found guilty of being bribed by betting companies to purposefully lose games, with matches not only limited to domestic leagues in Asia, but also international competitions. 24 players were fined in various degrees, with Ramez Dayoub and Mahmoud El Ali being given the most severe punishment: a lifetime ban from the sport and a $15,000 fine.
