Peter Alex Tomas Eggers (born 1979or1980) is a Swedish actor, best known for his starring role in the 2011 TV series Anno 1790 . He also plays the lead role in the 2025 Netflix series The Breakthrough .

The Breakthrough (Genombrottet) is a 2025 Swedish crime drama television series directed by Lisa Siwe and produced by FLX. It is an adaptation by Oskar Söderlund of a novel by journalist Anna Bodin and the genealogist Peter Sjölund, which was a fictionalised account of a true-life crime from 2004. It became available on Netflix from 7 January 2025.
