Peter Egharevba is a Nigerian retired footballer that played for New Nigeria Bank F.C. in the 1980s. He also played for Nigeria Youth team in that period. He also played for Benin Based Club Bendel Insurance F.C. and scored against rangers in 1978 to win the Nigerian FA cup in Lagos. [1] Peter was part of the great Bendel Insurance F.C. in the 80s. [2]

Bendel Insurance Football Club, also known as Insurance of Benin Football Club or simply Bendel Insurance, is a football club based in Benin City, Nigeria. The club plays in the Nigeria Premier League. They were originally known as the Vipers of Benin. They play their home matches at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, which has a capacity of 12,000. They are the current champions of the Federation Cup after defeating Enugu Rangers 1–0 at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba on June 21, 2023.

The West African Club Championship, also known as the General Eyadéma Cup, was a football tournament for West African clubs from 1977 to 1999. It was open to league runners-up in the West Africa region of the CAF. While the first matches were played of the 2000 tournament, the competition was cancelled before the final, largely for financial reasons. While the intention of the CAF was to revive a national squad tournament in its place, the planned annual CSSA Nations Cup has not been regularly scheduled since. The tournament was resurrected in 2009 to pit each member country's highest team not featuring in the CAF Champions League or the CAF Confederation Cup.
