The Odesa Numismatics Museum is a currency museum in Ukraine. The museum preserves and exhibits ancient relics from the Northern Black Sea Region and Rus-Ukraine.

The Statue of Graf Vorontsov, Odessa, is a sculptural and former monument established in 1863 on the Sobor Square in Odesa in honor of Mikhail Semyonovich Vorontsov, Field Marshal, the General-Governor of Novorossiya Region and plenipotentiary governor of Bessarabia who was a graf until 1845, then knyaz from 1845. The sculptor is Friedrich Brugger, the pedestal was made under the command of Sevastopol 1st guild merchant P.A. Telyatnikov. and the architect was Francesco Carlo Boffo. On 11 November 2023 the monumental status of the sculpture was scrapped.

Ruslan Serafymovych Tarpan is a Ukrainian businessman, living in the United Arab Emirates. The founder of the "Incor-Group" company, Tarpan served as a member of the Odesa City Council from the pro-Russian Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine from 1994 to 2010, and was heavily involved in the rebuilding of monuments in Odesa. In 2010, Tarpan began construction on a deep-sea sewage pipeline. The project, which lasted seven years and was never completed, ended in Tarpan and his associates being charged with the embezzlement of ₴200 million. Subsequently, Tarpan fled Ukraine for the United Arab Emirates, where he has lived since 2017.
In Sloviansk, Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine, four members of the Transfiguration of The Lord Pentecostal church were captured and killed in June 2014, allegedly by members of the Russian Orthodox Army. The reason for the killings is disputed. TheIn a car of one of the kidnapped the money in foreign currency was found, which was the pretext to declare the Protestants American spies. Church officials believe that it was an act of religious persecution.

Neuland: Antireligiöse Zweiwochenschrift der Sowjetdeutschen was an anti-religious magazine in German. It was published by the Central Bureau of the German Sections at the Central Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of Ukraine in the city of Kharkiv. The first issue was published in November 1926, No. 2–11 − in 1927. In the years 1928–1929. 12 were published, in 1930–1933 - 24 issues a year, and in 1934 - 12 issues a year. The subscription price in 1928 was 25 kopeks per month. In 1927 the circulation of the magazine was 457, in 1928 - 1200, in 1929 - 1900, in 1930 - 2400 copies. The publication ceased at No. 12 for 1934. The chief editor of the magazine was Hans Gockel who was subsequently arrested in 1937 and shot in 1938, rehabilitated in 1959. The slogan of the magazine was "The struggle against religion is the struggle for socialism!".

Acts as an official opponent at the defense of dissertations, a member of the jury of the city competition of the Department of Science and Education of the Odesa City Council for the professional skills of teachers "Tolerance - the lessons of the Holocaust". President of the Charitable Foundation "Pam’yat. Gidnist. Svoboda". Member of the editorial board of the newspaper "Dobroe delo".
