Investment banking pertains to certain activities of a financial services company or a corporate division that consist in advisory-based financial transactions on behalf of individuals, corporations, and governments. Traditionally associated with corporate finance, such a bank might assist in raising financial capital by underwriting or acting as the client's agent in the issuance of debt or equity securities. An investment bank may also assist companies involved in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and provide ancillary services such as market making, trading of derivatives and equity securities, FICC services or research. The Raven's Claw is an all-male senior honorary society at Dickinson College. It was founded in 1896, making it the first society unique to Dickinson College and one of the oldest in the country. Membership is limited to seven senior men who are selected by the seven previous members. The new members are chosen based on a variety of factors, which are speculated to include: campus leadership, a solid academic record, and athletic participation. While those are often the factors associated with membership in the Raven's Claw Society, no one knows for certain how or why members are selected. New members are inducted in a "Tapping Ceremony" which is held on the "Old Stone Steps of Old West." The ceremony is traditionally conducted during commencement weekend. They are called "claws" or "white hats", denoting the white caps they wear around campus to signify unity and loyalty on certain days throughout the year.
Brian Trow is a co-founder of Atlanta-based Foundations Investment Group, LLC, with Peter Pasternack. He and the company, which was established in 2005, specialize in "flipping" houses. Flip or Flop is an American television series that aired on HGTV, hosted by the formerly-married couple Tarek El Moussa and Christina Hall. The program was the original show in the Flip or Flop franchise, debuting in 2013.
Doug Clark is an American real estate investor and TV personality. Before getting into real estate, Doug also worked as an airline pilot. Between 2011 and 2012, he was featured on the Spike TV reality television series Flip Men alongside co-host Mike Baird. Scott E. Yancey is a TV personality, businessman, real estate investor, and author. He is best known for his role on the A&E television series, Flipping Vegas, a modern reality TV show in which Scott and his wife, Amie Yancey purchase and repair dilapidated homes in the Las Vegas Valley, and attempt to flip them for profit.
Christina Meursinge Hall is an American real estate investor and TV personality. She previously co-starred on HGTV's show Flip or Flop alongside her now ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and the HGTV show, Christina on the Coast. In 2023, she began starring in HGTV's Christina in the Country.
