Peter Sidoli (born 10 June 1980) is a Welsh former rugby union player who played as a lock. Born in Merthyr Tydfil, he played for Neath, [1] Merthyr and Ebbw Vale, [2] before joining the Newport Gwent Dragons regional side as part of their inaugural squad in 2003. [3]

In June 2008, after 114 appearances for the Dragons, he joined Italian club Calvisano on a two-year contract. [4] At the end of the 2008–09 season, he played against his former side in a play-off match to decide the final qualifier for the 2009–10 Heineken Cup. [5] Following a change in the structure of professional rugby union in Italy that resulted in two Italian teams joining the Celtic League for the 2010–11 season, Sidoli left Calvisano midway through his contract in September 2009 and returned to Neath. [6] In May 2010, Sidoli started for Neath in the Welsh Premiership play-off final; the match finished 22–22, but Neath were awarded the win by virtue of having scored more tries (3–1), adding to the league title they won a few weeks earlier. [7] After retiring from rugby to focus on a new career as a fitness instructor, Sidoli returned to the game in 2016 to play for Pontypridd, where his brother, former Wales international Robert Sidoli, was coaching. He made 13 appearances before retiring again at the end of the 2016–17 season. [8]

Sidoli's father, Primo, emigrated to Wales from Bardi, Emilia-Romagna, which meant Sidoli was qualified to play international rugby for Italy. However, he chose to represent Wales at under-21 level. [9] In May 2004, Sidoli was called up to the Wales senior squad for their summer tour to Argentina and South Africa. [10] He was named on the bench for the pre-tour match against the Barbarians at Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol, and came on in the 75th minute of a 42–0 win; [11] however, Wales did not award caps for the game and Sidoli did not play in any of the games in Argentina or South Africa.

Despite being tipped as the "next best thing" during his early career and being a great points kicker Jarvis only earned one cap for Wales at full international level. After retiring from rugby union as a player, Jarvis took up coaching. He is currently head coach at Rhydyfelin RFC.

Lyn Jones is a former Wales international rugby union player. Originally playing as a flanker, Jones subsequently became a coach. He played most of his playing career for Neath RFC and started his coaching career at the same club. Jones has coached professional clubs in Wales and England and, in 2018, became head coach of the Russian national rugby union team. He subsequently beame a coach with national rugby team of the Netherlands.

Adam Mathias Jones is a Welsh former professional rugby union player who played as a lock. He captained the Wales Under-19 team and earned his first caps for the Wales senior team as a replacement against England and Scotland in the 2006 Six Nations Championship. He began his career with Swansea RFC before a spell in England with Saracens and Harlequins, before returning to Wales with Cardiff RFC. At the start of the Welsh regional era, he signed for the Llanelli Scarlets and played for them for four seasons, before a seven-year spell with the Newport Gwent Dragons. He also made appearances for Llandovery RFC, Carmarthen Quins RFC, Cross Keys RFC and Newport RFC.

Jordan Rhys Williams is a Welsh rugby union footballer who plays for the Dragons. His regular position is at full-back, but he has also played at fly-half and on the wing. He began his career with amateur side New Dock Stars RFC, before being signed by Llanelli RFC and ultimately breaking into the Scarlets regional side. However, he struggled to find playing time with the Scarlets and moved to Bristol in 2016, only to return to Wales with the Dragons two years later. He has also played internationally for Wales at under-16, under-18 and under-20 level, as well as for the Wales Sevens team.

The 2017–18 season is the 15th season in the history of the Scarlets, a Welsh rugby union regional side based in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire. This season, they are competing in the newly revamped Pro14 as the defending champions, the Rugby Champions Cup and the Anglo-Welsh Cup. This season, Welsh international Liam Williams and Canadian international D. T. H. van der Merwe departed the club, while Welsh internationals Leigh Halfpenny and Tom Prydie and Australia Sevens international Paul Asquith were among the new arrivals.
