Peter T. Scardino (born 1945) is an American cancer surgeon, researcher, and author expert in genitourinary and urological cancers particularly cancer of the prostate. He is chair of the Department of Surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. [1]
Scardino joined Memorial Sloan-Kettering in New York in 1998, as head of MSKCC’s Prostate Cancer Program and chief of the Urology Service, where he was awarded the Murray F. Brennan Chair in Surgery. He currently holds the David H. Koch Chair. He became Chair of the Department of Surgery in 2006. [2] He is also a professor in the Department of Urology at Weill Cornell Medical College [3] and at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. [4]
Scardino is an editor of The Comprehensive Textbook of Genitourinary Oncology [5] He co-wrote the consumer book, Dr. Peter Scardino’s Prostate Book The Completed Guide to Prostate Cancer, Prostatitis, and Benign Prostate Hyperplasia. [6]
Scardino received the Barringer Medal from the American Association of Genitourinary Surgeons in 2009. [7] [8] The American Urological Association awarded Scardino its Distinguished Contribution Award in 2008. And he received the Society of Urologic Oncology Medal in 2005. [9]

Josep Baselga i Torres, known in Spanish as José Baselga was a Spanish medical oncologist and researcher focused on the development of novel molecular targeted agents, with a special emphasis in breast cancer. Through his career he was associated with the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Vall d'Hebron Institute of Oncology, and the Massachusetts General Hospital in their hematology and oncology divisions. He led the development of the breast cancer treatment Herceptin, a monoclonal antibody, that targets the HER2 protein which is impacted in aggressive breast cancers.

Ashutosh K. Tewari is the chairman of urology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He is a board certified American urologist, oncologist, and principal investigator. Before moving to the Icahn School of Medicine in 2013, he was the founding director of both the Center for Prostate Cancer at Weill Cornell Medical College and the LeFrak Center for Robotic Surgery at NewYork–Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Tewari was the Ronald P. Lynch endowed Chair of Urologic Oncology and the hospital's Director of Robotic Prostatectomy, treating patients with prostate, urinary bladder and other urological cancers. He is a world leading urological surgeon, and has performed over 9,000 robotically assisted procedures using the da Vinci Surgical System. Academically, he is recognized as a world-renowned expert on urologic oncology with over 250 peer reviewed published papers to his credit; he is on such lists as America's Top Doctors, New York Magazine's Best Doctors, and Who's Who in the World. In 2012, he was given the American Urological Association Gold Cystoscope Award for "outstanding contributions to the field of urologic oncology, most notably the treatment of prostate cancer and the development of novel techniques to improve the outcomes of robotic prostatectomy."
Douglas S. Scherr, M.D. is an American surgeon and specialist in Urologic Oncology. He is currently the Clinical Director of Urologic Oncology at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York City. He also holds an appointment at the Rockefeller University in New York as a Visiting Associate Physician. Dr. Scherr was the first physician at Cornell to perform a robotic prostatectomy as well as a robotic cystectomy.

Hedvig Hricak was born in 1946, in Zagreb, SR Croatia, SFR Yugoslavia and earned her MD degree from the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb in 1970. She has been Chairman of the Department of Radiology, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center since November 1999. She is Professor of Radiology at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University.
