Peter Toussaint is a Dutch singer-songwriter and musician, who has been living in Pretoria, South Africa since 2003. He played with De Niro in the Netherlands. [1] [2]

Band history

In 2003 he moved to Pretoria, South Africa where he formed The Fake Leather Blues Band, together with brothers Conrad and Franco Jamneck. [3] [ unreliable source ] In 2010, Mozambican born Pedro Barbosa formed together with Peter The Barbosa Experience and in that year he also joined Hoot 'n Anny, together with Franco Jamneck and his wife Alouise. Looking to press his own stamp, he formed the Peter Toussaint Band in 2016 with Franco Jamneck and Wim van Vuuren. In 2017 Wim stopped due to not having enough time and Lourene Mostert (Tuin Band) stepped in on bass. Franco played drums in the band until Lourene moved to Europe in 2017. In 2020 Peter formed Fourth Son South.

The band got its start as the house band playing a weekly gig in Jack's Back Room on Pittsburgh's South Side. The band achieved fame in 1994 with its platinum-selling album When I Woke, which included the hit single "Send Me on My Way". The song has been featured prominently in many films and commercials. Rusted Root has sold more than three million albums, and is currently on hiatus. Alien Boys were a German rock band from Hamburg, Germany. They formed in 1987 and were one of the first European grunge bands but also associated with the doom metal genre. After two independent albums and a lot of touring, especially in the United States, they got signed to Gun Records/BMG and released their third album, Doom Picnic, produced by grunge pioneer Jack Endino. His first release as a solo artist, it was released on 11 December 2017. The album is an instrumental album and a concept album, musically going through a full day. As a bonus track, there is the song "Home" which follows after Moonlight.

The Fake Leather Blues Band is a blues band from Pretoria, South Africa. They are also commonly known simply as FLBB.

Fourth Son South is a South African band formed by Dutch born Peter Toussaint, a maestro on guitar. After bringing out his solo album One Day in 2018, Peter brought together bass player Franco Jamneck and drummer Carel Viljoen. As a three-piece they toured for a while under the name Peter T Band.
