Phil Groeneveld (born September 18, 1974) is a Canadian-Dutch retired professional ice hockey goaltender. He last played for HC Alleghe in Italy's Serie A league, and retired in 2009.
Born in Oshawa, Ontario, Groeneveld has played for clubs in France, the Netherlands, and Italy. A 6 ft 0 in (183 cm), 190 lb (86 kg) goaltender, Groeneveld attended Ohio State University for a brief time however began his pro career in the United States in 1995 with the Wichita Thunder. Later in the same season he joined the Fort Worth Fire, also of the CHL where he scored the first ever goalie goal in league history. The following season he joined French club Viry-Châtillon EH where he remained for two years before joining a second French team, Rouen HE 76, for whom he played the next four seasons where he won two championships, two top goaltender awards and scored another goalie goal.
Groeneveld spent 2003–5 with Amsterdam Bulldogs again winning two championships while suffering an ACL injury. For 2005-6 he played for SV Renon in Serie A in Italy assisting the club to the league final for the first time in 32 years. Groeneveld spent 2006-07 playing 5 games for Riviere-du-Loup CIMT of the CQSHL, and 33 games for HC Alleghe in Serie A. For 2007-8 he played for Hockey Club Bolzano Foxes in Serie A Italie where he won another championship. In 2008-9 he played for HC Alleghe.
Groeneveld was a member of the Netherlands National Team from 2004 to 2010 winning two top goaltender awards in World Championships and a bronze medal. Amazingly, Groeneveld scored a third goalie goal in an exhibition game between France and the Netherlands.
Groeneveld plays internationally for the Netherlands national ice hockey team. In 2005 he played for the Netherlands national team for the first time, in Olympic qualifying and the 2005 World Championships (Division 1) winning a bronze medal. In 2005 and in 2007 Groeneveld won best goaltender award of the World Championships.

In ice hockey, the goaltender is the player responsible for preventing the hockey puck from entering their team's net, thus preventing the opposing team from scoring. The goaltender mostly plays in or near the area in front of the net called the goal crease. Goaltenders tend to stay at or beyond the top of the crease to cut down on the angle of shots. He previously played for HC Lugano and HC Fribourg-Gottéron and within the Chicago Blackhawks, Los Angeles Kings, Montreal Canadiens, and Washington Capitals organizations in the National Hockey League (NHL). He is the first French netminder and second French-trained player overall to play in the NHL. He currently co-hosts hockey TV show, Le Repas d'équipe, with fellow French-born Swiss former player Laurent Meunier on MySports.

The rest of his career, which lasted from 1992 to 2014, was mainly spent in Europe, where he mainly played in the Finnish SM-liiga and Swedish Elitserien. Internationally Norrena played for the Finnish national team at five World Championships, winning one silver and one bronze medal, and the 2006 Winter Olympics, winning a silver medal.

Jason Mark Muzzatti is a Canadian-Italian former professional ice hockey goaltender, and the current goaltending coach for the Carolina Hurricanes. He played 62 games in the National Hockey League between 1993 and 1998 for four teams. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1991 to 2007, was spent in various minor leagues and in Europe. Internationally Muzzatti played briefly for the Canadian national team in the early 1990s, and later in his career played for the Italian national team at several World Championships and the 2006 Winter Olympics.
Reto Berra is a Swiss professional ice hockey goaltender who is currently playing for HC Fribourg-Gottéron of the National League (NL). Berra played seven seasons in Switzerland's National League A, spending time with the GCK Lions, HC Davos and SCL Tigers before joining EHC Biel in 2009 where he was the team's starting goaltender for four years. He was an NHL draft pick of the St. Louis Blues, selected in the fourth round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft and was traded to the Calgary Flames, with whom he made his NHL debut in 2013–14. Internationally, Berra has played with the Swiss National Team on several occasions; he has appeared in two World Championships. At the 2013 tournament, he shared goaltending duties with Martin Gerber and helped lead Switzerland to a silver medal, the nation's first medal in 60 years.
Noora Helena Räty is a Finnish ice hockey goaltender and the goaltending coach of Shenzhen KRS in the Chinese Women's Ice Hockey League. She was a founding board member of the Professional Women's Hockey Players Association (PWHPA) and was a member of the board affiliated with the Minnesota chapter of the organization until signing a Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) contract with the Metropolitan Riveters in May 2023.

A native of Niagara Falls, Ontario, he played junior ice hockey in Ontario, before winning a national university championship with the York Lions. During six seasons of professional hockey in Italy, he also played for the Italy men's national team at the World Championships and Winter Olympics. After his playing career, he served as an executive for Ontario University Athletics, the Professional Hockey Players' Association, the Canadian Junior Hockey League, and the Ontario Junior Hockey League. He was inducted into the Niagara Falls Sports Wall of Fame in 2005.
