Phil Mazo (born June 13, 1981) is an American stand-up comedian. He has appeared on The Bob & Tom Show, and his stand-up can be heard on Sirius Satellite Radio. He is also in a national television commercial for CarMax. His debut comedy album, Pervert , has appeared in the top 40 comedy albums on iTunes.
Mazo was born in Hoboken, New Jersey to Russian-Jewish immigrant parents. When he was ten months old, his family moved from Jersey City, New Jersey to Newark, New Jersey, where he was raised.
Mazo graduated from the College of Architecture, Art, and Planning at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York in 2003 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. At Cornell, he was a cartoonist for The Cornell Daily Sun newspaper and a member of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity.
