The Rødovre Mighty Bulls is a Danish professional ice hockey team based in Rødovre, Denmark, playing in the Metal Ligaen, the top tier of Danish ice hockey. The club was founded in 1961 and play their home games in the Rødovre Skøjte Arena which has a capacity of 3,600 spectators.

He played for German club Hamburg Freezers after spending the majority of his professional career with current club Herning Blue Fox in Denmark's top league, AL-Bank Ligaen. Nielsen has competed in several World Cup events including 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and also the 2010 IIHF World Championship as a member of the Denmark men's national ice hockey team.

The last final was played on 16 April 2017.
The 2017–18 Metal Ligaen season was the 61st season of ice hockey in Denmark. The season got extended from 10 to 11 teams by including Hvidovre Fighters. It is Hvidovre's first season in the league since the 2012–13 season. It is also the first time ever that the league consists of 11 teams.
The 2021–22 Metal Ligaen season was the 65th season of the Metal Ligaen, the top level of ice hockey in Denmark. Nine teams participated in the league.
