Philippe Pijollet (1940-November 17, 2006) [1] was a French English professor who served as the Director of Adult Resources of the World Scout Bureau, and was also in charge of African issues.

In 2002, Pijollet was awarded the 293rd Bronze Wolf , the only distinction of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, awarded by the World Scout Committee for exceptional services to world Scouting. [2] [3]

Bronze Wolf Award The highest award in Scouting

The Bronze Wolf Award is bestowed by the World Scout Committee (WSC) to acknowledge "outstanding service by an individual to the World Scout Movement". It is the highest honor that can be given a volunteer Scout leader in the world and it is the only award given by the WSC. Since the award's creation in 1935, fewer than 400 of the several millions of Scouts throughout the world have received the award.
