The Philippine International Motor Show, or PIMS, is an auto show that took place on August 9, 2007 at the Philippine World Trade Center. It ended August 12, 2007.
The Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI) produced the exhibition. The show exhibited products, models, services, and technologies related to automobiles.
Participating car companies at the show included Columbian Autocar Corporation, Honda Cars Philippines Inc., General Motors Philippines Inc., Isuzu Philippines Corp., Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corp., Nissan Motor Philippines Inc., PGA Cars Inc., Scandinavian Motors Corp., Suzuki Philippines Inc., Toyota Motor Philippines Inc., and Universal Motors Corp.
CAMPI held the second Philippine International Motor Show from August 21–24, 2008 at the World Trade Center Metro Manila. The opening ceremonies featured President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo as keynote speaker. Fifteen global auto brands participated, including Audi, BMW, Chevrolet, Ford, Honda, Isuzu, Kia, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Porsche, Suzuki, Toyota, and Volvo.
The 3rd Philippine International Motor Show at the World Trade Center from August 19–22, 2010. All 15 CAMPI members will be there with their respective brands, from European nameplates like Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Porsche and Volvo to familiar Japanese marques like Honda, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Suzuki, and Toyota. Korean carmakers will be represented by Hyundai and Kia, Chevrolet will carry the banner for American cars while China will have Chana on its side

The 8th year of the motor show event was held on September 15–18, 2022. This event was supposed to be scheduled on September 17–20, 2020, but due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the country, the event was pushed back to 2 years. This year's event was participated by 13 car brands, including the new members of CAMPI such as Chery, Geely and Hyundai.
The 9th year of the motor show event will be held on October 24 to 27, 2024, it is also known as the 9th Philippine International Motor Show presented by Netflix after CAMPI signed a five-year partnership deal with Netflix.

It was founded in April 1967 and serves as a platform for the automakers of Japan to share technological developments and management practices. There are currently 14 member companies, manufacturing not only cars, but trucks and motorcycles as well. The organization also deals with the manufacturing and distribution of vehicle parts around the world. Together, the companies of JAMA hold a vast share of the markets in the United States, Europe, and many developing countries. JAMA also has offices located in Beijing, Singapore, Washington, D.C., Toronto and Brussels, Belgium.

The Tokyo Auto Salon is an annual auto show held in January at the Makuhari Messe, Chiba City, Japan for Performance and custom aftermarket parts and technology displays. Hosted by the Nippon Auto Parts Aftermarket Committee (NAPAC), the Tokyo Auto Salon is one of the top motor shows globally for modified and tuned cars. The 2019 Tokyo Auto Salon featured 906 vehicles, 426 exhibitors, and 4,175 booths that offered aftermarket accessories for purchase. There are also after-market parts manufacturers, custom shops, care manufacturers, automotive businesses, and automotive vocational schools. There are not only custom cars and after-market manufacturers, there is also live entertainment. Top musicians from around the world and talk shows hosting famous drivers and celebrities can be seen at the Tokyo Auto Salon.
The automotive industry in Pakistan is one of fastest-growing industries in the country, growing by 171% between 2014 and 2018. It accounts for 7% of Pakistan's GDP and employed a workforce of over 6.8 million people as of 2024. Pakistan is the 15th largest producer of automobiles. Its contribution to the national exchequer is nearly US$5.4 billion. Pakistan's auto market is among the fastest growing in Asia. 384,000 cars were sold in 2023. In the 1990s and early 2000s, Pakistan had many Japanese cars. With the launch of the first Auto Policy in 2005, Pakistan launched its first indigenous car, Adam Revo. However, after the 2008 elections, the dollar started depreciating, and due to bad governance, many automakers began to halt production, with some exiting Pakistan. Currently, the auto market is dominated by Honda, Toyota, Hyundai, Kia and Suzuki. However, on 19 March 2016, Pakistan passed a second "Auto Policy 2016-21," which offers tax incentives to new automakers to establish manufacturing plants in the country. In response, Renault, Nissan, Proton Holdings, Kia, SsangYong, Volkswagen, FAW, and Hyundai have expressed interest in entering the Pakistani market. MG JW Automobile Pakistan has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Morris Garages (MG) Motor UK Limited, owned by SAIC Motor, to bring electric vehicles to Pakistan. NLC signed an agreement with Mercedes-Benz to manufacture Mercedes Actros trucks in Pakistan. Pakistan has not enforced any automotive safety standards or model upgrade policies. A few older vehicle models, including the Bolan and Ravi, continue to be sold by Suzuki. On 8 July 2021, Jolta Electric launched the production of electric motorcycles.

The Memphis International Auto Show is an annual auto show held every January in Memphis, Tennessee. The event takes place at the Memphis Cook Convention Center in Downtown Memphis and is affiliated with the Motor Trend regional auto show circuit. Despite the event's title name, not all vehicles or automakers are featured due to the limited convention space. Although the event is opened to visitors in the greater Memphis area, including residents from Arkansas and Mississippi, it is mandated at all auto shows in Tennessee that under state law, no sales may take place on the premises, and signs to that effect must be posted. There was no 2021 show, which was deferred to 2022.

The automotive industry in the Philippines is one of the largest in the Asia-Pacific region, with approximately 441.4 thousand vehicles sold in 2023. Most of the vehicles sold and built in the Philippines are from foreign brands. For the most part, the Philippines is dominated by Japanese automobile manufacturers like most of its ASEAN neighbors. The automobile production in the country is covered under the Philippine Motor Vehicle Development Program implemented by the Board of Investments. In addition, there are also a small number of independent firms who assemble and fabricate jeepneys and other similar vehicles, using surplus engines and drivetrain parts mostly from Japan.
