The Philips PFA Golf Classic was a senior (over 50s) men's professional golf tournament on the European Senior Tour. It was played from 1997 to 1999. In 1998 and 1999 the tournament was held at Meon Valley Country Club, Shedfield, Hampshire, while in 1997 it was held at St Pierre Golf & Country Club, near Chepstow, Wales

The Tradition

The Tradition is an event on the PGA Tour Champions tour. First staged 30 years ago in 1989, the PGA Tour recognizes the event as one of the five senior major golf championships. Unlike the U.S. Senior Open, Senior PGA Championship and Senior Open Championship, it is not recognized as a major by the European Senior Tour, and is not part of that tour's official schedule. It is the only senior major where the winner does not earn an exemption into a PGA Tour or European Tour event.

This event featured two days of stroke play, after which the field was cut to the top 16 players. These 16 competed at match play in morning and afternoon matches the last two days of the tournament.

The Comfort Classic was a golf tournament on the Champions Tour from 1988 to 2000. It was played in Indianapolis, Indiana at the Broadmoor Country Club (1988–1993) and at the Brickyard Crossing Golf Club (1994–2000). Title sponsorship was from Comfort Inn.

The New England Classic was a golf tournament on the PGA Tour from 1969 through 1998. It was held under various names at Pleasant Valley Country Club in Sutton, Massachusetts.

French Senior Open

The French Senior Open was a senior men's professional golf tournament on the European Senior Tour. In 1994 and 2004 it was played at Golf d'Omaha Beach, Port-en-Bessin, Normandy, in 1998 and 1999 it was played at Pau Golf Club, Pau, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, in 2000 it was played at Golf de Joyenval, Chambourcy near Paris and in 2007 at Golf de Divonne-les-Bains in Divonne-les-Bains, ten miles north of Geneva. The prize fund was €200,000 in 2004 and €325,000 in 2007.

The Giant Eagle LPGA Classic was an official golf tournament on the LPGA Tour held in the Youngstown, Ohio area.

The Michelob Light Classic was a golf tournament on the LPGA Tour from 1994 to 2001. It was played at two different courses in the St. Louis, Missouri area. From 1994 to 1999, it was played at the Forest Hills Country Club in Chesterfield. In 2000 and 2001, it was played at the Fox Run Golf Club in Eureka. Annika Sörenstam won four of the eight editions of the tournament.

David Jones is a former European Tour golfer from Bangor, Northern Ireland. His best season was 1981, when he won the Irish PGA Championship and was joint third in the Carroll's Irish Open. He also won the 1989 Kenya Open and later played on the European Seniors Tour, winning the 1999 Jersey Seniors Open.

European Seniors Match Play Championship

The European Seniors Match Play Championship was a senior men's professional match play golf tournament played on the European Seniors Tour from 2000 to 2004. In 2000 and 2001 it was held at Penina Golf, Portimão, on the Algarve, Portugal, while from 2002 to 2004 it was held at Flamingos Golf, Marbella, Málaga, Spain. Prize money totalled £100,000.

Tunisian Seniors Open golf tournament in Tunisia

The Tunisian Seniors Open was a senior men's professional match play golf tournament played on the European Seniors Tour. It was played in late 1992 and then from 2001 to 2003. It was held at Port El Kantaoui Golf Club, Port El Kantaoui, Tunisia which had previously hosted the Tunisian Open from 1982 to 1985.

Monte Carlo Invitational

The Monte Carlo Invitational was a senior men's professional golf tournament on the European Senior Tour. It was played from 1998 to 2002 at the Monte Carlo Golf Club, La Turbie, Alpes-Maritimes, France. The course is near Mont Agel, in France, as there are no golf courses in Monaco. The Monte Carlo Open was played at the same venue from 1984 to 1992.

Lawrence Batley Seniors

The Lawrence Batley Seniors was a senior men's professional golf tournament on the European Senior Tour. It was played from 1992 to 2002 in the Huddersfield area of West Yorkshire, England. From 1995 the tournament was held at Huddersfield Golf Club, north of Huddersfield, while in 1994 it was held at Woodsome Hall Golf Club, south-west of Huddersfield, and in 1992 and 1993 at both venues. The tournament was sponsored by Lawrence Batley who had earlier supported a European Tour event, the Lawrence Batley International, from 1981 to 1987. Batley died in August 2002, soon after the final tournament.

Dan Technology Senior Tournament of Champions

The Dan Technology Senior Tournament of Champions was a senior men's professional golf tournament on the European Senior Tour. It was played from 1996 to 2001. From 1996 to 2000 it was held at Buckinghamshire Golf Club, Denham, Buckinghamshire while in 2001 it was played at Mere Golf and Country Club, Mere, Cheshire, England. The 2001 event had total prize of £150,000 with the winner receiving £25,000.

Ryder Seniors Classic

The Ryder Seniors Classic was a men's professional golf tournament on the European Seniors Tour from 1992 to 1998. The tournament was held at Collingtree Park Golf Club near Northampton from 1992 to 1997 and at The Welcombe Hotel, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire in 1998. Neil Coles own the tournament three times while it was played at Collingtree Park.

Swedish Seniors

The Swedish Seniors was a men's professional golf tournament on the European Seniors Tour in 1997 and 1998. The tournament was held at Fågelbro Golf and Country Club on the Island of Värmdö, east of Stockholm, Sweden.
