Dame Pieter Ane Stewart DNZM is a New Zealand businesswoman. In the 1980s, she established her own promotions company and modelling agency, and was the associate editor of New Zealand Fashion Quarterly from 1985 to 1987. [1]
She founded New Zealand Fashion Week in 2000. [1] In the 2012 Queen's Birthday and Diamond Jubilee Honours, she was appointed a Dame Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit, for services to fashion and the community. [2]
Dame Silvia Rose Cartwright is a New Zealand jurist who served as the 18th Governor-General of New Zealand, from 2001 to 2006. She was the second woman to hold the office, after Dame Catherine Tizard.

The Silver Jubilee of Elizabeth II marked the 25th anniversary of the accession of Queen Elizabeth II on 6 February 1952. It was celebrated with large-scale parties and parades throughout the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth throughout 1977, culminating in June with the official "Jubilee Days", held to coincide with the Queen's Official Birthday. The anniversary date itself was commemorated in church services across the land on 6 February 1977, and continued to be for the rest of that month. She subsequently held top positions at the Department of Transport and the Department of Social Welfare.
Christine Coe Winterbourn is a New Zealand biochemist. She is a professor of pathology at the University of Otago, Christchurch. Her research in the biological chemistry of free radicals earned her the 2011 Rutherford Medal and the Marsden Medal, the top awards from each of New Zealand's two top science bodies.
