Poplar is a district in East London, England, the administrative centre of the borough of Tower Hamlets. Five miles (8 km) east of Charing Cross, it is part of the East End.

Cubitt Town is a district on the eastern side of the Isle of Dogs in London, England. This part of Poplar was redeveloped as part of the Port of London in the 1840s and 1850s by William Cubitt, Lord Mayor of London (1860–1862), after whom it is named. It is on the east of the Isle, facing Royal Borough of Greenwich across the River Thames. To the west is Millwall, to the east and south is Greenwich, to the northwest Canary Wharf and to the north, across the Blue Bridge, is the rest of Poplar. It is in Blackwall & Cubitt Town Ward of Tower Hamlets London Borough Council.

Bartlett Park is a public open space in Poplar in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets in London on Upper North Street. It is located to the south of the Limehouse Cut waterway and the Lansbury Estate to the south and east of the park. The whole landscape is 4.95 hectares.

The Trinity Independent Chapel was an architecturally significant early Victorian church in the East End of London. The Ossulston Estate is a multi-storey council estate built by the London County Council on Chalton Street in Somers Town between 1927 and 1931. It was unusual at the time both in its inner-city location and in its modernist design, and all the original parts of the estate are now Grade II listed buildings.

Aberfeldy Village is an urban village in a part of Poplar that was once part of Bromley in London, England, which is the process of being redeveloped in a joint venture between Poplar HARCA and Willmott Dixon, it was known as the Aberfeldy Estate, a housing estate but has expanded into a new urban village, it is sometimes referred to as Aberfeldy New Village in planning documents.
