Pillar Point is an American indie pop, synthpop band based out of Seattle, Washington, United States.
Pillar Point is the solo recording project of Scott Reitherman (also of Throw Me The Statue). In June 2013, the band signed with Polyvinyl Record Co. and unveiled the first single, “Diamond Mine,” which was later released as a 7" on September 3, 2013. [1]
The self-titled full-length album, Pillar Point, was released the following year on February 25, 2014 on Polyvinyl. [2] The album went on to receive press accolades with features in Stereogum, [3] SPIN, [4] and others. Following the album's release, Pillar Point embarked on national tours with of Montreal and Soft Swells.
The band has been remixed by Generationals, [5] Ruby Suns, [6] and Music Go Music. [7] The band's music video for “Dreamin’” was featured on Vimeo’s Staff Picks [8] VICE premiered the video for "Dove" starring Kia Labeija. [9]

It was recorded shortly after the band released their debut self-titled EP through Polyvinyl in October 1998. Intro Bonito is the debut mixtape by British indie pop band Kero Kero Bonito. It was self-released by the band on 30 September 2013, followed by a reissue on 25 August 2014 by Double Denim Records. It was promoted by the singles "Homework" and "Sick Beat" and the title track received a music video. A remix EP called Bonito Recycling was released on 29 September 2014.
Fred Thomas is an American indie rock musician who was described by Mark Deming of AllMusic as "[o]ne of the most influential figures on Michigan's indie rock scene". Thomas founded the math rock band Chore in 1994. After this band broke up in 1996, he joined His Name Is Alive in addition to serving as a member of Lovesick and Flashpapr. He founded the band Saturday Looks Good to Me in 1999, and it released four studio albums before going on hiatus in 2008. He has also released music as a solo artist, beginning with the 2002 album Everything Is Pretty Much Totally Fucked Up. His most recent solo studio album is Aftering, which was released in 2018 and featured Anna Burch and Elliot Bergman. Since then, Fred has moved on to a new guitar rock project, Idle Ray, while continuing to release albums of instrumental electronic music under his own name.
