Pirthi Singh Numberdar is an Indian politician. He was elected to the Haryana Legislative Assembly from Narwana, Haryana in the 2009 and 2014 as a member of the Indian National Lok Dal. [1]

Haryana Legislative Assembly Unicameral state legislature of Haryana state in India

The Haryana Legislative Assembly or the Haryana Vidhan Sabha is the unicameral state legislature of Haryana state in India. The seat of the Vidhan Sabha is at Chandigarh, the capital of the state. The Vidhan Sabha comprises 90 Members of Legislative Assembly, directly elected from single-seat constituencies. The term of office is five years.

The Haryana legislative assembly election, 2009 was held on 13 October 2009, to select the 90 members of the Haryana Legislative Assembly. Results were declared on 22 October 2009. Indian National Congress got 40 seats. Incumbent Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda was reelected for second term.

2014 Haryana Legislative Assembly election

A general election was held on 15 October 2014 to elect 90 members of the Haryana Legislative Assembly. The term of previous assembly elected in 2009 was to expire on 27 October 2014. The results were announced on 19 October. The BJP won the majority in the Assembly. Manohar Lal Khattar was chosen to head the new government.

He was one of the four MLA who joined the Dushyant Chautala's Jannayak Janta Party after a split in Indian National Lok Dal. [2] [3]
