Pitambari Debi (born 12 June 1904, in Puri) was an Indian writer of Odia literature, best remembered for coauthoring the Lexicon of the Oriya Language , and her book Kantara Babu (1931). [1] [2] [3]

Prem Anand is an Indian music director and composer. He usually works in Odia film and television industry. In 2006, he started his career as a music director through the Odia movie Tu Eka Ama Saha Bharasa and worked as a music director in more than 60 Odia films. Apart from Odia films, he composed music for Odia daily shops, Bhajans and Jatra songs. In 2009, Anand worked as a music director for the Hindi film Dekha Bhai Dekh in 2019, he composed music for Bollywood film Luv U Turn. Apart from Odia and Hindi films, he composed music for Marathi and Bengali films. He composed the 2023 Men's FIH Hockey World Cup anthem.

Before his debut as an actor in films, he had already written 60 plays. He also wrote lyrics in many Sambalpuri songs.

She published 15 books of poetry, shortstories and travelogues. She also was the founder and editor of Odia women's monthly Sucharita. She was also editor of odia children's monthly Nandanakanan.

Kalira Atita is a 2020 Indian Odia-language family film directed by Nila Madhab Panda, who earlier directed I am Kalam and Jalpari. This movie talks about climate change and its repercussions. The director sent the film to the Academy Awards committee. The film won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Odia.

Rajendra Kishore Panda is an Indian Odia language poet and novelist. He has published 16 poetry collections. He was awarded the Gangadhar National Award in 2010, and the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1985. He received Kuvempu Rashtriya Puraskar for 2020.
