The championship will be played between from 9 to 17 January 2010 in Warsaw. The championship was contested by 16 players in a 2 games match format. (In case the match was drawn after 2 games there were first rapid and then if needed blitz tie-breaks). The time control was 90 minutes for 40 moves + 30 minutes. There was a 30 seconds increment for every move from the start.

From sixteen people, two dancers are eliminated in each episode. In every episode couples are randomly picked. The final episode that features the top three contestants. The show is hosted by Kinga Rusin. The judges are Agustin Egurrola, Michał Piróg and Weronika Marczuk-Pazura. It premiered on 10 September 2008. Wioletta Fiuk was announced as the winner on 3 December 2008.

Master Film is a Polish dubbing studio based in Warsaw, the capital of Poland. The studio was founded in 1992. The studio commissions dubbed and subtitled versions of content for its clients. Master Film is also one of two dubbing studios that Nickelodeon works with to produce Polish versions of material shown on it, the other being Start International Polska. The studio also works with TVN to produce versions of material shown on it and also animated shown on TVN 7's children block, Bajkowe kino.

Katarzyna Dąbrowska portrays Marta, another teacher and some-time love interest. Paulina Szostak appears as a student, Ewelina, in two seasons. The first season of ten episodes was a rating success for Canal + as it broke their all-time record and won two awards, including Best TV Series at the Polish Film Awards. A second season of eight episodes began in October 2017. After a gap of six years, a third season of eight episodes was broadcast from September 2023.

The Women's Chess World Cup 2021 was a 103-player single-elimination chess tournament, the first edition of Women's Chess World Cup, that took place in Sochi, Russia, from 12 July to 3 August 2021. It was the inaugural edition of a women's-only version of the FIDE World Cup. The tournament was held in parallel with the Chess World Cup 2021, an open tournament.
