Polish Women Chess Championship 2010

The championship will be played between from 9 to 17 January 2010 in Warsaw. The championship was contested by 16 players in a 2 games match format. (In case the match was drawn after 2 games there were first rapid and then if needed blitz tie-breaks). The time control was 90 minutes for 40 moves + 30 minutes. There was a 30 seconds increment for every move from the start.

Warsaw Capital of Poland

The main goal of the game is to win 1 million Polish zloty (€240,000) by answering twelve multiple-choice questions correctly. In previous editions, there were three or four lifelines - fifty fifty, ask the audience and ask the expert, the experts were: Bartosz Węglarczyk, Michał Ogórek, Szymon Hołownia, Dorota Wellman and Jan Wróbel; in the previous season - Andrzej Fabianowski, Piotr Gąsowski and Kazimiera Szczuka. Now, the executive producer of programme is Intergalactic. Since 2008, when a contestant gets the second question correct, he or she will leave with 1,000 zł. When a contestant gets the seventh question correct, he or she will leave with 40,000 zł.

<i>You Can Dance: Po prostu tańcz!</i> Polish television show

You Can Dance: Po prostu tańcz! is a televised Polish dance competition with a format based on the American show So You Think You Can Dance. Dancers compete to win PLN 100,000, and a 3-month scholarship in dance school Broadway Dance Center and International Dance Academy in Los Angeles from season 7 on. The winners to date are : Maciek "Gleba" Florek, Artur Cieciórski, Wiola Fiuk, Ania Kapera, Jakub Jóżwiak, Dominik Olechowski, Brian Poniatowski, Mateusz Sobecko and Stefano Silvino.

The 5th season of Taniec z Gwiazdami, the Polish edition of Dancing With the Stars, started on March 4, 2007 and ended on May 6, 2007. It was broadcast by TVN. Katarzyna Skrzynecka and Hubert Urbański continued as the hosts, and the judges were: Iwona Szymańska-Pavlović, Zbigniew Wodecki, Beata Tyszkiewicz and Piotr Galiński.

From fourteen people, two dancers are eliminated in each episode, to the final episode that features the top 2 contestants. For the first time the show is hosted by Patricia Kazadi. The judges are Agustin Egurolla, Michał Piróg and Kinga Rusin who joined the panel after hosting the five previous seasons.

The women's event at the 42nd Chess Olympiad, organised by the Fédération Internationale des Échecs (FIDE), was held from 2–13 September 2016 in Baku, Azerbaijan. It is contested by a record number of 142 teams representing 138 nations. Azerbaijan, as host nation, field three teams, whilst the International Physically Disabled Chess Association (IPCA) and the International Chess Committee of the Deaf (ICCD) each provide one team. A total number of 693 players are participating in the women's event.

The show is a biographical story about the reign of Polish Kings: King Casimir III the Great, and then Queen Jadwiga of the Kingdom of Poland.The series tells the story of the monarchy in Poland under the rule of the last Piasts, Anjou and the first Jagiellons in XIV century.
