Politique internationale is a quarterly French political affairs magazine covering international relations based in Paris, France.

History and profile

Politique internationale was established by Patrick Wajsman in 1978. [1] The headquarters is in Paris. [1] It has published interviews with leaders both from France and the rest of the world. It organizes eight to ten Breakfast Round Tables a year, bringing together members of the editorial board and a guest of honor. It also publishes Special Reports written in several languages.

The Politique Internationale Prize recognizes a personality from outside France who has demonstrated political courage through his or her actions or writing. The editor-in-chief is Anne Le Fur.

Frédéric Bozo is a Professor at the University of Paris III: Sorbonne Nouvelle, where he teaches contemporary history and international relations. He is also a Senior Research Associate at the Institut français des relations internationales (IFRI) where his focus is on Atlantic and European security issues. Yves Roucaute is a French philosopher, Phd, Phd (philosophy), writer, professeur agrégé in philosophy, professeur agrégé in political science, teaching at Paris X University Nanterre, Previous President of the scientific Council of the "Institut National des Hautes Etudes de Securité et de Justice", director of the review "Cahiers de la Sécurité", counsellor of the "réformateurs" group at the French National Assembly. He has held a number of positions in cabinet ministers of right-wing governments, and is a close friend of Alain Madelin, Jean-Pierre Raffarin, and Nicolas Sarkozy. He is also a journalist and columnist He was editing director of some newspapers and he is the owner of newspaper in the south of France and minority stockholder of some others. He is the majority stockholder of "Contemporary Bookstore" SAS.

Maurice Vaïsse is a French historian specialised in international relations and Defence. He is an Editorial Board member on Journal of Intelligence and Terrorism Studies.

Jean-Jacques Chevallier,, was a 20th-century French professor, jurist and historian and Academician. Professor at the Paris Faculty of Law and Economic Sciences, member of the Academy of Political and Moral Sciences (1964–83), he left numerous works, in particular a major classic on "The Great Political Works from Machiavelli to Our Day", recently reissued with an update by Yves Guchet. Several subsequent historians in France have acknowledged his influence; Jean-Pierre Gross writes of "A chronological and historical account, in the tradition established by Jean-Jacques Chevallier", and according to the French jurist Georges Lavau: "We had a few masters who had explored certain territories, almost in solitude: André Siegfried, Raymond Aron, Jean-Jacques Chevallier, Georges Burdeau, Jean Stoetzel."

The Institut français des relations internationales is a think tank dedicated to international affairs, based in Paris, France.

Josepha Laroche is a French professor of political science, specializing in international relations. She is professor at the University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne, where she is Director of the master's program of research in international relations, and is also researcher at the UMR 201 Développement et sociétés. She was also Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris from 2004 to 2009.

Theodore de Korwin Szymanowski ; Polish: Teodor Dyzma Makary Korwin Szymanowskipronounced [tɛɔdɔr, dɨzmaˌ makarɨ 'kɔrvin ʂɨmaˈnɔfskʲi]); born in Cygów, Poland on 4 July 1846, died in Kiev, on 20 September 1901) was a Polish nobleman and impoverished landowner, an economic and political theorist writing in French. He was the author in 1885 of a strikingly original economic blueprint for a proto Unified Europe and for the abolition of African slavery. He was also a Polish poet.
