Pondfreaks Entertainment is a short film production house from Hyderabad.
Pondfreaks Entertainment have formed one of the leading Short film studios in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, India. The studio's activities span across creative development, production and marketing the short films.
The studio has produced short movies including Coin, Infinity, [1] Invisible fish and Bewars.
The Pondfreaks entertainment has started long back in 2007. The key initiators of the Studio are Karthik Gattamneni, Edward Sunny, Vijay Bhanu, Goutham Nerusu, Ajay Kiran Varma, Seshu, Vijay Kiran Varma, and Kunaal. Initially, the studio was named as "Eddykar Productions", but later it has been changed to "Pondfreaks entertainment".The team consists of alumni from Rajiv Menon MindScreen Film Institute, Satyajit ray Film & Television Institute, Annapurna College of Film and Media, ISB Hyderabad and BITS Pilani. Their filmography includes around 11 short films, which are critically acclaimed. In late 2011, Oklahoma Sooners Production (another shortfilm production studio) has merged with Pondfreaks entertainment to produce two movies and a music video: Infinity and Bewars (Films), Lost (Music Video).
Initial stages almost every shortfilm from Pondfreaks Entertainment has been shot on a Sony handycam. Later it has been upgraded with 3CCD MiniDV camcorder. F&I is the first short film from Pondfreaks Entertainment to be shot on Canon EOS 7D. Pondfreaks is the first shortfilm studio in India to try underwater shots (in Invisible fish) with Canon EOS 7D.

Malayalam cinema is the segment of Indian cinema dedicated to the production of motion pictures in the Malayalam language, which is widely spoken in the state of Kerala and Lakshadweep islands of india. Penmetsa Ram Gopal Varma, often referred to by his initials RGV, is an Indian film director, screenwriter and producer, known for his works in Telugu cinema in addition to Hindi, Kannada language films, and television. Varma has directed films across multiple genres, including parallel cinema and docudrama noted for their gritty realism, technical finesse, and craft. Regarded as one of the pioneers of new age Indian cinema, he was featured in the BBC World series Bollywood Bosses in 2004. In 2006, Grady Hendrix of Film Comment, published by the Film at Lincoln Center cited Varma as "Bombay's Most Successful Maverick" for his works on experimental films. He is known for introducing new talents, who eventually become successful in the Indian film industry.1
Akkineni Nagarjuna Rao, known mononymously as Nagarjuna, is an Indian actor and film producer who works predominantly in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil films. One of the highest paid South Indian actor, Nagarjuna has appeared in over 90 films. He is a recipient of two National Film Awards for Ninne Pelladata (1996) and Annamayya (1997), ten state Nandi Awards and three Filmfare Awards South.

Nagulapati Srinivasa Chakravarthy, known professionally as J. D. Chakravarthy, is an Indian actor, filmmaker, screenwriter and musician known for his work primarily with Telugu cinema in addition to Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam films. Chakravarthy made his screen debut with the Telugu film, Siva, an action blockbuster directed by Ram Gopal Varma, featured at the 12th IFFI. Anandabhadram is a 2005 Indian Malayalam-language romantic dark fantasy horror film based on the novel of the same name by Sunil Parameshwaran, and directed by Santosh Sivan. C. V. Kumar is an Indian film producer, film director and film distributor who heads the production studio Thirukumaran Entertainment. Produced jointly by Dil Raju and Sirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations and PVP Cinema. The film stars Vijay in the main lead role alongside R. Sarathkumar, Shaam, Prabhu, Srikanth, Prakash Raj, Rashmika Mandanna, Jayasudha, Sangeetha, Samyuktha Shanmughanadhan, Nandini Rai, Yogi Babu, Ganesh Venkatraman, S. J. Suryah and Suman. It focuses on an entrepreneur's youngest son being named the chairman of his father's business, much to the dismay of his two brothers.
Darlings is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language black comedy film co-written and directed by Jasmeet K. Reen, in her directorial debut, from a screenplay by Parveez Sheikh, and produced by Alia Bhatt, Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma under the banners Red Chillies Entertainment and Eternal Sunshine Productions. The film stars Bhatt herself, Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew in the lead roles.
