The Northwest Historic District is a U.S. historic district located in West Palm Beach, Florida. The district is bounded by Tamarind Avenue, Eleventh Street, Rosemary Avenue and 3rd Street. It contains 316 historic buildings. The West Palm Beach Community Development Agency has targeted the area, and is restructuring Tamarind Avenue and 7th Streets. They are also restoring the Sunset Lounge, called the "Cotton Club of the South", one of the few remaining venues on the Chitlin' Circuit.
The boundary markers of the original District of Columbia are the 40 milestones that marked the four lines forming the boundaries between the states of Maryland and Virginia and the square of 100 square miles (259 km2) of federal territory that became the District of Columbia in 1801. Working under the supervision of three commissioners that President George Washington had appointed in 1790 in accordance with the federal Residence Act, a surveying team that Major Andrew Ellicott led placed these markers in 1791 and 1792. Cripple Creek Historic District is a historic district including Cripple Creek, Colorado, United States and is significant for its gold mining era history. It developed as a gold mining center beginning in 1890, with a number of buildings from that period surviving to this day. The mines in the area were among the most successful, producing millions of dollars of gold in the 1890s and supporting a population of 25,000 at its peak. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1961.

The Auchentoroloy Terrace Historic District encompasses a residential district southwest of Druid Hill Park on the northwest side of Baltimore, Maryland. It is roughly bounded by Auchentoroly Terrace, Reisterstown Road, Liberty Heights Avenue, and Fulton Avenue. This area was developed between 1895 and 1911 with a series of large, fashionable townhouses, mainly in the Renaissance Revival style. Development was begun by the heirs of John Morris Orem, and largely finished by the Auchentoroloy Corporation, which acquired land not developed by the Orems.
