The Portland Naughty Dogs were an American professional paintball team that competed in the NPPL until the 2011 season. Portland is featured in the video game NPPL Championship Paintball 2009. They also go under the name the Seattle Naughty Dogs. Portland joined the NPPL in 2003 and have won 2 tournaments. [1]

Paintball sport

Paintball is a competitive team shooting sport in which players eliminate opponents from play by hitting them with spherical dye-filled gelatin capsules ("paintballs") that break upon impact. Paintballs are usually shot using a low-energy air weapon called a paintball marker that is powered by compressed air (nitrogen) or carbon dioxide and was originally designed for remotely marking trees and cattle.

The Naughty Dogs are one of the teams in the NPPL with the best win record next to the San Diego Dynasty. In the 2008 season, the Naughty Dogs were struggling and were in line to drop down to the Semi-Pro division of the NPPL. After having been out of the professional league for almost a year on August 11, 2009 they rejoined.

The Indoor Professional Football League (IPFL) was the new incarnation of the Professional Indoor Football League (PIFL), which started in 1998. Two of its teams left the league and their owner, Kerry Ecklund, founded the Indoor Football League in 1999. The IPFL led a troubled three-year existence, and died after its 2001 season, with its most successful teams joining up with the National Indoor Football League.

He supplied barrels to the California Ironmen and Team Avalanche, who at that time were two of the most dominant teams in Professional paintball. From these humble beginnings, DYE went on to become an International concern that went on to manufacture an extensive range of paintball markers, loaders, playing & casual clothing, protective gear, goggles and luggage. Their range of products is updated each year. In 2005, the company was praised as one of the industry's largest paintball manufacturers. The company has offices in London, Taiwan and Germany.

Portland Prowlers

The Portland Prowlers were a professional indoor football team based in Portland, Oregon. Playing as a member of the Indoor Professional Football League (IPFL) for the 2000 season, they played their home games at the Memorial Coliseum. This was the second indoor football team based in Portland following the Portland Forest Dragons. The team name was decided in a 'Name the team' contest. The winning name was submitted by several entrants, including Danny Bradach of Portland, Oregon and David Harwood of Concord, California. Contest winners were awarded season tickets for the lifetime of the team.

Colt Roberts is a professional paintball player for the San Antonio X-Factor. Roberts has played for a number of teams, such as TBA, Fuel, TX Storm, St. Louis Avalanche, Arsenal, the Portland Naughty Dogs and Escondido Aftermath. In 2006, Roberts was NXL All-Star, and he also runs many paintball clinics across the country.

The Northeast Paintball Series (NEPS) is one of two major paintball tournament series in the New England Area. The league is for 5-man Division 4/Novice & Division 5/Rookie level play. The league run out of Fox4 Paintball in Upton, MA. It and is a feeder league for the only New England X-Ball league Foxball.

Mississippi Fire Dogs

The Mississippi Fire Dogs were a professional indoor American football team based in Biloxi, Mississippi. They played their home games at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. They were a charter member of the Indoor Professional Football League. They played from in the 1999-2000 IPFL seasons before joining the National Indoor Football League in 2001. Their final season was in 2002.

Ryan Greenspan is an American Professional Paintball player. Greenspan is a founding member of the professional paintball team San Diego Dynasty, and with that team has won more professional tournaments than any other team in the history of the sport. Greenspan resides in San Diego, California, which is the team’s current headquarters. Currently Dynasty is wears blue uniforms with a Japanese styled, blue dragon.
