In 2002, the Greek government passed the controversial Law 3037/2002 which effectively banned all electronic games in public places to fight illegal gambling. The bill was formulated after a member of the ruling Panhellenic Socialist Movement (PASOK) political party was videotaped in an illegal gambling establishment, resulting in public hysteria that was fueled by sensationalist reporting in the press. The bill was passed on 29 July, 2002 to take effect with its publication in the Government Gazette, pursuant to the enabling article.
Hampton & Richmond Borough Football Club is an English football club based in the suburb of Hampton, in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. Indian Arm is a steep-sided glacial fjord adjacent to the city of Vancouver in southwestern British Columbia. Formed during the last Ice Age, it extends due north from Burrard Inlet, between the communities of Belcarra and the District of North Vancouver, then on into mountainous wilderness. Cade's Road is a postulated Roman Road in north-east England. It is named after John Cade of Durham, an 18th-century antiquarian who in 1785 proposed its existence and possible course from the Humber Estuary northwards to the River Tyne, a distance of about 100 miles (160 km). Although evidence exists for such a road on some parts of the proposed route, there is still some doubt regarding its exact course. The road's Roman name is unknown.

XXL was a gay nightclub in London and Birmingham which catered to the bear sub-group. The club was founded by Mark Ames and his then partner David Dindol in 2000. They separated in 2005, after which Mark purchased his ex-partner's share of the club. It was the largest dedicated "bear" venue in the United Kingdom and the world. It was not just the bear scene's longest-running weekly disco but London's too, having not missed a night in over 16 years.

The Lebrecht Photo Library was set up in 1992 by Elbie Lebrecht who worked as a specialist librarian, publishing editor and sculptor. Initially based on an archive of classical music images, it expanded to represent a number of private collections and photographers working in the field of music and the performing arts and general arts. It has grown to 175,000 images and has three sections: Music & Arts pictures at Lebrecht; Author Pictures at Lebrecht; Arts Images at Lebrecht. Notable photographers represented by the library include Betty Freeman and Wolfgang Suschitzky. Public institutions represented include New York Public Library for the Performing Arts and the Royal Academy of Music.
The Archers' Hall is the club house of the Royal Company of Archers, the Sovereign's Bodyguard in Scotland. It is located at 66 Buccleuch Street in the Southside of Edinburgh, and has been used by the company for over 230 years. Building commenced on 15 August 1776, and was completed in 1777 to designs by Alexander Laing. When the foundation stone was laid in 1776, two lines of Latin were inscribed on a plate which was set in the stone. These lines, beginning Nulla Caledoniam, were taken from:
