Air Vice Marshal Prishantha De Silva, USP, psc, SLAF is the former Director Inspection and Safety, and also former director of Aeronautical Engineering Sri Lanka Air Force.

He was educated at Nalanda College Colombo and joined the Sri Lanka Air Force an officer cadet. [1] [2]

He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka and is a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society.

The Sri Lanka Air Force is the air arm and the youngest of the Sri Lanka Armed Forces. It was founded in 1951 as the Royal Ceylon Air Force (RCyAF) with the assistance of the Royal Air Force (RAF). The SLAF played a major role throughout the Sri Lankan Civil War. The SLAF operates more than 160 aircraft and has a projected trained strength of 30,000 airmen and 2000 officers, who are from both regular and reserve service.

Milinda Jayasinghe is a former Sri Lankan rugby union player domiciled in New Zealand. He played for Sri Lanka in the Rugby Sevens tournament at the 2002 Asian Games.
