In 2010, it had an enrollment of 2,109 students and a faculty of 103 teachers in grades 9-12. In 2014, it had 2,057 students and 98 teachers. In 2018, there is 2,066 students, 101 teachers, and 5 administrators. Daniel Pratt was an American industrialist who pioneered ventures that opened the door for industry in the U.S. state of Alabama. Prattville in Autauga County, and Birmingham's Pratt City in Jefferson County are both named for him. He is buried in Pratt Cemetery, located on top of Ginshop Hill near downtown Prattville, Alabama.

Prattville Christian Academy or PCA is a private Christian school located in Prattville, Alabama. The school includes kindergarten through twelfth grade. The average class size ranges from 10 to 20 in advanced classes and 20-25 in basic classes. The president of the school is Ron "Ron" Mitchell. The mascot of the school is a Black Panther and the school colors are purple and black. The school's original gymnasium was destroyed during a tornado on Sunday, February 17, 2008, but a second was created a few years later in the main area of the high school building. The school consists of two buildings, a building for primary education with an adjoining middle school and an upper class-men building. The upper school building includes classrooms for both middle school and high school. On January 28, 2016, the school began working on a new science wing with integrated lab stations, coaches office, Bible wing and two multipurpose rooms. The school's motto was "Excellence in a Christian environment". The school also has a strict uniform, consisting of khaki shorts/pants for the males, and skirts/pants/shorts for the females. Each student had to wear a PCA polo with the official emblem, as well as had to wear only PCA approved jackets.

State Route 14 (SR 14) is a 218.289-mile-long (351.302 km) state highway maintained by the U.S. state of Alabama. SR 14 travels from west to east through the central portion of the state. The highway begins at the Mississippi state line at the terminus of Mississippi Highway 69 and connects the cities of Selma and Prattville before ending at SR 147 on the western side of Auburn.

The Daniel Pratt Historic District is a historic district that includes 140 acres (57 ha) and 154 buildings in Prattville, Alabama. It is named in honor of Prattville's founder, Daniel Pratt. The district includes the historic downtown and is roughly bounded by 6th Street in the north, Northington Street in the east, 1st Street in the south, and Bridge and Court streets in the west. Architecture in the district includes the Greek Revival, Italianate, and Bungalow styles. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on August 30, 1984.
