Preetha Jayaraman is an Indian cinematographer. She is the niece of famous cinematographer P. C. Sreeram. Jayaraman was largely inspired by her uncle's work on field and later became an established Cinematographer. She has ranging experience from shooting TVCs, music videos, short films, documentaries and feature films. She frequently collaborates with Prakash Raj. She came to limelight when she had worked for Abhiyum Naanum (2008). [1] [2] [3] In 2019, she won the "Best Cinematography Award" at the Wonder Women Awards. [4] She is one of the first 4 women to be inducted into the Indian Society of Cinematographers.

He is an alumnus of the Madras Film Institute. Apart from his work as a cinematographer, Sreeram was much appreciated for his directorial venture Kuruthipunal. The film was internationally acclaimed and was submitted by India as its official entry to the Oscars in 1996. Sreeram is known for his association with Bharathan, Mani Ratnam, R Balki, Vikram Kumar, and received critical acclaim for his work in films such as Thevar Magan, Mouna Ragam, Nayakan, Cheeni Kum, Agni Natchathiram, Paa, Geethanjali, Alaipayuthey, I, Pad Man, O Kadhal Kanmani, Thiruda Thiruda, Ishq, and Remo. It is the remake of his own Telugu film Vedam (2010) starring Allu Arjun, Manchu Manoj and Anushka Shetty. It features an ensemble cast of Silambarasan, Bharath, Anushka Shetty, Prakash Raj, Saranya Ponvannan, Sonia Agarwal, and Santhanam. Remo is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film written and directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan, in his directorial debut and produced by R. D. Raja under 24AM Studios. The film stars Sivakarthikeyan and Keerthy Suresh, while Sathish, Rajendran, Aadukalam Naren, Anson Paul, K. S. Ravikumar, Saranya Ponvannan and Sri Divya portray supporting roles. The cinematography was handled by P. C. Sreeram, and editing work was done by Ruben. Sound designer Resul Pookutty, was also a part of the film. The soundtrack album and background score has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and the soundtrack received positive response, upon release. The film follows an aspiring actor who decides to don as a female nurse, to test his acting skills and also to win the hearts of his lady love, who is a doctor by profession.

Mahanati is a 2018 Indian Telugu-language biographical drama film based on the life of actress Savitri. It is written and directed by Nag Ashwin, and produced by Priyanka Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema. The film features Keerthy Suresh as Savitri while Dulquer Salmaan plays Savitri's husband Gemini Ganesan. The film also stars Samantha Akkineni and Vijay Deverakonda, along with Rajendra Prasad, Prakash Raj, and Bhanupriya who appear in supporting roles. Naga Chaitanya and Mohan Babu, among others, play guest appearances. The plot follows Savitri's life, depicting her turbulent rise to prominence, marriage with Ganesan, and subsequent fall from grace, which is viewed from the perspective of a journalist and a photographer, played by Samantha and Deverakonda respectively.

The film's music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad while cinematography and editing are performed by P. C. Sreeram and Naveen Nooli respectively. The film was theatrically released on 26 March 2021 and the film received positive reviews from critics but it was commercial failure at box office citing COVID-19 Pandemic.

<i>Hey Sinamika</i> 2022 film directed by Brinda

Hey! Sinamika is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film written by Madhan Karky and directed by Brinda in her directorial debut. The title of the film was taken from a song in O Kadhal Kanmani. Produced by Jio Studios and Global One Studios, the film stars Dulquer Salmaan, Aditi Rao Hydari and Kajal Aggarwal. Featuring music composed by Govind Vasantha and cinematography by Preetha Jayaraman, the venture began production in March 2021. It is an adaptation of the 2008 Argentine film A Boyfriend for My Wife.
