County Tipperary is a county in Ireland. It is in the province of Munster and the Southern Region. The county is named after the town of Tipperary, and was established in the early 13th century, shortly after the Norman invasion of Ireland. It is Ireland's largest inland county and shares a border with eight counties, more than any other. The population of the county was 167,895 at the 2022 census. The largest towns are Clonmel, Nenagh and Thurles.

Clonmel is the county town and largest settlement of County Tipperary, Ireland. The town is noted in Irish history for its resistance to the Cromwellian army which sacked the towns of Drogheda and Wexford. With the exception of the townland of Suir Island, most of the borough is situated in the civil parish of "St Mary's" which is part of the ancient barony of Iffa and Offa East.
The Limerick Institute of Technology was an institute of technology, located in Limerick, Ireland. The institute had five campuses that were located in Limerick, Thurles, Clonmel, as well as a regional learning centre in Ennis. The main campus was located at Moylish Park in Limerick adjacent to Thomond Park and housed the Faculty of Applied Science, Engineering and Technology and the School of Business and Humanities. The Dominican Order has been present in Ireland since 1224 when the first foundation was established in Dublin, a monastic settlement north of the River Liffey, where the Four Courts is located today. This was quickly followed by Drogheda, Kilkenny (1225), Waterford (1226), Limerick (1227) and Cork (city) (1229). The order was reestablished in the 19th century after having been driven out in the 17th century by laws against Catholic religious orders. During the Penal Laws, as other Irish Colleges were established on the continent, in 1633 the Irish Dominicans established, the College of Corpo Santo, Lisbon and College of the Holy Cross, Louvain (1624-1797) to train clergy for ministering in Ireland. San Clemente al Laterano in Rome, was entrusted to the Irish Dominicans in 1677. In 1855, St. Mary's Priory, Tallaght, was established to train members of the order, who would complete their clerical studies in Rome and be ordained in the Basilica San Clemente.
Coláiste Chríost Rí is a Catholic secondary school for boys based on Capwell Road in Turners Cross, Cork, Ireland. The school, which is under the trusteeship of the Presentation Brothers Schools Trust, had an enrollment of 513 students as of 2023.

Douglas Community School, also known as Douglas Com, The Com or DCS, is an all boy's community school in Douglas, Cork, Ireland. It was founded as Coláiste Muire by the Presentation Brothers in 1926 as a juniorate. In 1965 it became a full secondary school. In 1974, it became one of the first "community schools" in Ireland, when it was transferred by the Presentation Brothers to a local board of management. The Roman Catholic Bishop of Cork's representatives are trustees on the board of management. Its uniform is a navy jumper with royal blue and yellow stripes at neckline. The school also hosts adult education evening classes.

CBS High School Clonmel, is a second level Christian Brothers school in Clonmel, County Tipperary in Ireland. It was built in 1899 and its first Superior was Joseph White. A new school building was first occupied in 1971. By 1985, it had a student population of 550 and 31 staff. There are now over 40 staff and 800 students.
Gaelcholáiste Chéitinn is a gaelcholáiste that caters to students from the Clonmel area in County Tipperary in Ireland. Part of the Central Technical Institute (CTI) on the Mall, the Gaelcholáiste is one of the CTI's three education identities, all three of which fall under the auspices of the Tipperary Education and Training Board (ETB).
Charles McGeever is an Irish sportsperson from County Donegal. He played association football as a defender for Fanad United and in the League of Ireland for Sligo Rovers and Finn Harps. He played Gaelic football in midfield for Donegal, for which he also captained. He has had success while managing Finn Harps, as well as the Clonmel Commercials GAA club and the Tipperary county team.
Catholic Education, an Irish Schools Trust (CEIST) is the trustee body for 107 Catholic Voluntary Secondary Schools in Ireland. CEIST provides the moral and legal framework that enable its schools to offer second level Catholic education in Ireland. Its role is built on the vision of its five founding congregations Daughters of Charity, Presentation Sisters, Sisters of the Christian Retreat, Sisters of Mercy and Missionaries of the Sacred Heart. These religious congregations established CEIST in 2007 to ensure the viability of Catholic Education at post-primary level in Ireland into the future.
