Preston Hodge (born September 18, 2002) [1] is an American college football cornerback for the Colorado Buffaloes. He previously played for Navarro College and the Liberty Flames.

Early life and high school

Hodge attended Waxahachie High School in Waxahachie, Texas. Coming out of high school, he committed to play college football for Navarro College. [2]

College career

During his one season at Navarro in 2021, Hodge appeared in ten games, recording 32 tackles with three going for a loss, three pass deflections, and two interceptions. [3]

Liberty

Hodge transferred to play for the Liberty Flames. [4] In his first season with Liberty in 2022, he posted 12 tackles. [5] During the 2023 season, Hodge made ten starts, totaling 48 tackles with three being for a loss, eight pass deflections, and two interceptions, where after the conclusion of the season he entered the NCAA transfer portal. Colorado

Hodge transferred to play for the Colorado Buffaloes. [7] He finished the 2024 season, starting in nine games, recording 33 tackles, seven pass deflections, and two interceptions. [8] Hodge returned to the Buffaloes for the 2025 season after the NCAA granted a waiver to former junior college players for an extra year of eligibility for the 2025 season. [9] In week nine of the 2025 season, he posted five pass deflections in a loss to Utah. [10] Hodge finished the 2025 season, totaling 41 tackles, 13 pass deflections, and an interception. [11]
