"Pride" is a single by the Japanese rock band Nothing's Carved in Stone released on July 18, 2012. [1] It was used as the opening theme for the anime Kingdom .

Nothing's Carved in Stone is a Japanese rock band formed in January 2009. After Ellegarden decided to go into hiatus in 2008, the group's guitarist Shinichi Ubukata created Nothing's Carved in Stone as his solo project. Their debut album Parallel Lives was released on May 6, 2009, debuting at No. 11 on the Japanese Oricon weekly album charts.

<i>Kingdom</i> (manga) Japanese manga series

Kingdom is a Japanese seinen manga series written and illustrated by Yasuhisa Hara. The manga provides a fictionalized account of the Warring States period primarily through the experiences of the war orphan Xin and his comrades as he fights to become the greatest general under the heavens, and in doing so, unifying China for the first time in history. The series was adapted into a two-season, seventy-seven episode anime television series by studio Pierrot. The first season of thirty-eight episodes aired from June 4, 2012 to February 25, 2013. A second season was announced, and aired thirty-nine episodes from June 8, 2013 to March 1, 2014. An English language release of the anime was licensed by Funimation. A live action film was announced in April 2018, starring Kento Yamazaki and directed by Shinsuke Sato. It was rumored to have a budget of 2 billion Yen and shot entirely at Hengdian World Studios in China.
