The Primorsky Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union , commonly referred to as the Primorsky CPSU kraikom, was the position of highest authority in the Primorsky Krai, in the Russian SFSR of the Soviet Union. The position was created in 1922, and abolished on August 23, 1991. The First Secretary was a de facto appointed position usually by the Politburo or the General Secretary himself.

Khabarovsk Krai is a federal subject of Russia. It is geographically located in the Far East region of the country and is a part of the Far Eastern Federal District. The administrative centre of the krai is the city of Khabarovsk, which is home to roughly half of the krai's population and the largest city in the Russian Far East. Khabarovsk Krai is the fourth-largest federal subject by area, and has a population of 1,343,869 as of 2010.

It is located in the northern and northwestern parts of the krai and borders with Khabarovsk Krai in the north, Terneysky District in the east and southeast, Krasnoarmeysky District in the south, Dalnerechensky District in the southwest, and with China in the west. The area of the district is 22,570.3 square kilometers (8,714.4 sq mi). Its administrative center is the urban locality of Luchegorsk. The Russian route A370 or the Ussuri Highway is a federal highway in Russia that forms part of the Trans-Siberian Highway. It runs from Khabarovsk to Vladivostok with a total length of 760 km. Most of the route is designated as part of Asian Highway 30, with the final section from Ussuriysk to Vladivostok forming part of AH6.
