Prishtina High School prepares students to be responsible citizens and active learners. Prishtina High School provides an American-style education in Kosovo. The school is located in the Matiqan region of Prishtina. Classes first began on 1 September 2007. They started working with only 26 students the first year. The teachers all came from the U.S. Don Tingle was the principal of the school and he was the one to work with the Ministry of Education in order to get the school licensed. [1] At the beginning of 2010-2011 year 130 students have enrolled, including the high school and a middle school program for grades 6 to 8. Now, PHS, as an internationally accredited American-style school, offers grades 1 to 12.
Students there have to complete the following subjects: 4 years of English, Math, Science, History, Language, Physical Education, Fine Arts. In order to graduate, a student must complete a minimum of 22 credits. A 70% in each class is required to pass the course. Completing 20 hours of community service each year is required too. [2]
In 2018, Prishtina High School joined the Network of International Christian Schools.

Plagiarism shows lack of responsibility in an active learner. If a student is found to have plagiarized on any assignment, quiz, test, a zero will be given. If a student is caught plagiarizing or cheating on a major assignment, quiz, test, a total of three times during a semester, the student will receive a semester grade of “NRY” and fail the course. Prishtina High School partners with MU High School through the University of Missouri to offer students access to high school and advanced courses not offered at PHS. Prishtina High School partners with Bethany College, Lindsborg Kansas, in offering two courses for dual credit: MA102 College Algebra and MA130 Analytic Geometry and Calculus 1. [4]
Prishtina High School uses RenWeb School Management Software to help students and parents know about their grades, access homework assignments and lesson plans, find the teachers' e-mails and contact them, and see photos, news, and dates from the school calendar. [5]
Berklee College of Music is a private music college in Boston, Massachusetts. It is the largest independent college of contemporary music in the world. Known for the study of jazz and modern American music, it also offers college-level courses in a wide range of contemporary and historic styles, including rock, hip hop, reggae, salsa, heavy metal and bluegrass. The educational system in Hungary is predominantly public, run by the Ministry of Human Resources. Preschool kindergarten education is compulsory and provided for all children between three and six years old, after which school attendance is also compulsory until age of sixteen. Primary education usually lasts for eight years. Alief Hastings High School is a public high school in the Alief area of Houston, Texas, United States. Originally Alief Junior-Senior High School, which became Alief Middle School, housed all of the secondary students in the district. The school's present location opened, while still under construction, for the fall semester of 1972. All high school students moved to that building, with the first graduating class in May 1973.

Dutchtown High School is a 5A school that was completed in 2003 in Geismar, an unincorporated area of Ascension Parish located in the U.S. state of Louisiana. It is within the Ascension Parish School Board. Dutchtown Middle School, Bluff Middle School and Prairieville Middle School feed into Dutchtown High. The architecture is based on that of the old Dutchtown High, which was situated across the highway at the current Dutchtown Middle School.

Rose and Alex Pilibos Armenian School is a K-12 Armenian school in the neighborhood of Little Armenia in Los Angeles, California. It was founded by Alex and Rose Pilibos in 1969. History and religion classes are taught in the Armenian language, and the rest of the classes are taught in English. The school is part of St. Garabed Armenian Apostolic Church.
The University of Pristina is a public university located in Pristina, Kosovo. It is the institution that emerged after the disestablishment of the University of Pristina (1969–99) as a result of the Kosovo War. The inauguration of the university was a historical occurrence not only for the people of Kosovo, but for the whole Albanian nation. On 15 February, the solemn Parliament session took place, which is also proclaimed as The University of Pristina's Day. In the composition of the newly established University of Pristina were faculties with their headquarters in Pristina: the Faculty of Philosophy, Faculty of Law and Economics, Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Medicine. Now the University of Pristina has 17 faculties, of which 14 are academic faculties and 3 are faculties of applied sciences. Contained within the emblem is a translation of the name into Latin, Universitas Studiorum Prishtiniensis.
Provo High School is a public secondary school located in Provo, Utah, United States. It is one of three high schools in the Provo City School District and was the oldest secondary school in the city. In the Summer of 2017 the school district began building a new school. The school was finished in August 2018.

Pioneer High School is a high school located in Woodland, California, United States. It is one of two high schools in the Woodland Joint Unified School District, providing a school for grades nine through twelve. As of the 2015–2016 school year, it had a population of approximately 1500-1600 students enrolled. It is the newest high school in Woodland, opened in 2003. The school mascot is a patriot. The school serves a primarily agricultural-based community with mostly middle-class families. Major employers in the community include healthcare, warehouses, and agriculture. Both Pioneer High School and Woodland High School draw students from two public middle schools and private schools that are located in Woodland.
Nora Frances Henderson Secondary School (NFHSS) is located at 1770 Upper Sherman Avenue in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and is a part of the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board. Originally opened in 1961 as Barton Secondary School, and originally located on 75 Palmer Rd., it had a September 2008 enrolment of 955, and had 28 primary languages spoken within the school by students aside from English. The school's mission statement is "Educating students to become lifelong learners and contributing citizens in a challenging, changing, multi-cultural world." Students are required by Provincial Law to complete 30 mandatory credits and the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) within their secondary school career. The school also offers special education classes as well as an ESL program. The HWDSB announced on May 24, 2012, that Barton Secondary School would be closed, along with Hill Park Secondary School and Mountain Secondary School with the students to be consolidated into a new, $25 million school. The school was renamed Nora Frances Henderson Secondary School in September 2014, in honour of Nora-Frances Henderson, the first woman to be elected to political office in Hamilton. The original building remained in service until the new Nora Frances Henderson Secondary School was opened on October 14, 2020. In July 2018, the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board got approval on building the new Nora Frances Henderson Secondary School. The school was designed by CS&P Architects and was built by Tambro Construction. The original building is now currently being used as Sherwood Secondary School, as of September 2022, when the school was temporarily moved from its location on 25 High St to conduct renovations due to asbestos concerns.

Throughout the last century Pristina has attracted a considerable number of students from Kosovo. Today, the city of Pristina hosts a large number of intellectuals, professors, academics, students, and professionals in various spheres.
