The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) is a department of the Government of Punjab. [1] It was established in 1999 by the Government of the Punjab as an autonomous body under the Department of Industries, operating under the administration of Information Technology Department from 2001 to 2011. The key focus of the department was to monitor global opportunities, cater to the growing need for IT, develop policy initiatives, planning and implementation of initiatives to increase the competitiveness of the IT industry in the Punjab province. The Information Technology department was dissolved in 2011, and PITB was attached under the Planning & Development Department Punjab. Humjkkk

Faisalabad, formerly known as Lyallpur, is the second largest city and industrial centre of the Pakistani province of Punjab. The University of the Punjab, also referred to as Punjab University, is a public research university located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It is the oldest and largest public sector university in Pakistan.
The Government of the Punjab is the provincial government of the Pakistani province of the Punjab. It is based in Lahore, the provincial capital. Its powers and structure are set out in the provisions of the Constitution, in which 41 districts come under its authority and jurisdiction. The government includes the cabinet, selected from members the Punjab Provincial Assembly, and the non-political civil staff within each department. The head of the province is known as the Governor, appointed by the federal government, on behalf of the President, while the administrative boss of the province is Chief Secretary Punjab.
The British Punjab Legislative Council, or simply the Punjab Legislative Council, was the unicameral legislature of British Punjab, a province of the British Raj. It was established in 1921 by the British authorities under Government of India Act 1919, the council had nominal powers and a membership of mainly pro-British politicians and government officials. Voting was largely boycotted until the Government of India Act 1935 increased representation and the powers of the assembly. It was dissolved in 1936 and was succeeded by British Punjab Provincial Assembly.

Arfa Software Technology Park is a skyscraper building and information technology park at Ferozepur Road, Lahore, Pakistan. Built in 2009, it is home to the Information Technology University and PITB. The main building consists of 17 floors and, at 106 meters tall, is currently the tallest building in Lahore.

Legislative Council elections were held in Punjab Province in British India in 1930. They were the fourth and last legislative council elections held in the province under the Government of India Act 1919. The newly elected Council was constituted on 24 October 1930 when its first meeting was held.

National Freelance Training Program (NFTP) is a training program by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT) and Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB). NFTP offering course includes freelancing, Technical, Content marketing and advertising and Creative design across the country in 18 cities having 20 centres.
