Purnamasi Jani (born 1944) also known as Tadisaru Bai is a poet, social activist from Odisha. She has composed over 50,000 devotional songs in Kui, Odia and Sanskrit. In 2021, she was awarded Padma Shri by the Indian Government. [1]

Narasingha Prasad Guru is an author and a lyricist from the Indian State of Odisha. He is a pioneer and a promoter of the Koshali language, also known as the Sambalpuri language, which is a language spoken in the western parts of Odisha. He has composed over 10 books in this language and composed around 500 songs. He has also compiled a dictionary of the Koshali language.
Sabarmatee is an Indian conservationist and farmer living in Nayagarh district in the state of Odisha. She works with a non-governmental organization called Sambhav which was visualised by her father Padma Shri Prof Radhamohan that promotes organic farming and conservation of indigenous varieties besides doing many other activities. Devi received the Radhanath Rath Peace Award and was awarded the Jamnalal Bajaj Award in 1994.
Daitari Naik also known as Canal Man of Odisha is an Indian agriculturalist. In 2019, he has been awarded Padma Shri by the Indian Government for his contribution in agriculture.
