I Putu Panji Apriawan (born 16 March 2008) is an Indonesian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Bali United and the Indonesia national under-17 football team. [1] He is known for his leadership qualities, having captained the Indonesia U17 team.
Putu Panji is a product of the Bali United youth academy. [2] He was promoted to the senior team in 2024 but is yet to make his Liga 1 debut.
Putu Panji made his debut for the Indonesia national under-17 football team in 2024, and was appointed captain during the 2025 AFC U-17 Asian Cup qualification. [3] He led the team in several key matches, drawing praise from coach Stefano Cugurra. [2]
In an interview, Putu Panji stated that he learned from the failure of the U20 team to qualify for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup, and aimed to lead the U17 squad to better results. [4]
Putu Panji was born in Tabanan, Bali, and comes from a supportive family who regularly watch his matches together. [5]
